“What if you found out that I’m cheating on you, what will you gonna do?” my girlfriend said out of nowhere. She was laying on the ground, using my lap as her pillow.
“You can’t do that. You love me that much.” I chuckled. I combed her hair. “Might answer your own question by putting me as the one whom cheating. What will you gonna do?” I retorted.
“I will set you free, Hon. Wanna know why?” she said, I nodded. “Because if you really love me, you will never cheat. Though, it’s your choice. Cheating is a choice not a mistake. And I believe that if you really love your partner, there’s no reason to cheat. If you are committed, loyal, contented, and faithful to me, cheating will never cross onto your mind. Even if I love you this much, if I found out that you’re cheating on me, I will set you free. I know that it will hurt me but that’s the right thing to do than continue our love that no longer happy. A relationship that full of lies and doubt should not be continue because it won’t work out anymore. That would just bring pain, trust issues, and we might hurt each other physically and emotionally. Did I answered the question, Hon?” She smiled.
“Perfectly said, Hon. Contentment, loyalty, trust, faithfulness, and commitment were the best recipes of love even though partner has no physical touch or not seeing each other—those couples that in a long distance relationship will last long if they have that recipes,” I said. I lowered down my face and kiss her forehead. “I love you, Hon!”
“I love you too.”
