Jungkook wakes up with a bang on his door.. Again!
He bounces up on his bed.
‘Am I late already?!!!’, he thinks as he checks the outside, but is surprised when he finds not a ray of sunshine out there.
‘What’s wrong!? It’s not even the dawn yet!!’, he groans as he unlocks the door and finds a very excited face of the king outside.
“Get ready!! We are going out.. NOW!”, He announces.
“What?!!! But…”, Jungkook complains.
“No but… get ready.. it’s an order”, Taehyung winks before leaving.
‘No wonder they think there are people trying to kill him… who wouldn’t!?’, Jungkook groans inside his head.

‘What’s wrong with him!!!!!!!’, Jungkook groans for the nth time.
It’s still dark as they keep walking.. yes walking.. more like hiking on a path leading straight upwards.
Jungkook’s empty stomach growls, reminding him of its existence, protesting for heavy walking without giving it some food yet.
Jungkook sighs. ‘Mad king indeed’, he curses under his breath.
“We are here!!!”, the mad king claps excitedly after an hour of hiking.
Jungkook looks ahead to discover a barren ground. The sun hasn’t come up yet, but the slight dawn light is enough to know that there’s a clip in front of them.
“Did you bring me here to kill me or something? Or is it another test of yours”, Jungkook asks frowning.
“You are such an idiot..”, Taehyung speaks in displeased, “Just wait for a bit, will you?”, Taehyung requests.
And Jungkook listens. He waits beside the king, anticipating about what’s coming next. And then he notices.
The sun with all its glory starts to appear far into the horizon, slowly raising its sunken head until it stands with all its pride.
Everything around them suddenly comes into life like a charm or a spell. The birds sing, flowers bloom, leaves shake, welcome their saviour who greets them back.
The king of the sky and of all living beings graces upon all, blesses them with soft warmth after the cold night.
Jungkook closes his eyes, accepting the soft rays on his face. When he finally opens them up, he notices that the king is already observing him. He smiles, or blushes to be accurate.
“It.. it’s beautiful!!”, He accepts, “Thank you.. I’ve never seen a sunrise before..”, He smiles.
“Well.. given an account to your wake-up schedule… I must say that I’m not so surprised”, Taehyung scoffs and Jungkook pouts.
For the first time in his life, he feels elevated as he looks around of himself. Standing high on ground, he can see the world around him… beautiful!
“The forest down there..”, Taehyung says nudging his expression to the left where hollowness of the green stared back from the below, “Is the forest of Kage.. or to say a part of it..”, He informs.
“Are we still in Ielan?”, Jungkook asks.
“Of course we are.. it’s just near the border from this side..”, Taehyung explains.
