Part 5 - untimely and dangerous interview

That was the most dangerous thing I've ever done.

Ask a member of Goetia royalty for a job.

And well, let's just say Josh didn't take it very well.

Obviously I didn't say anything to him, but when he saw me finishing talking to the imp at the palace gate.

He obviously sensed that something wasn't going to work out.

And well, when we arrived he just looked at me and said:

"You're dead."

And then he locked himself in his room with a pot of marijuana, an unlabeled bottle and a rubber penis.

He 's been there a long time, probably passed out after stuffing his body with booze, drugs and his toy.

As I obviously wasn't going to sit still while he was moaning like a bitch in the bedroom (seriously, this is extremely uncomfortable)

I took advantage and looked for information.

Today was the 30th of August 2019, yes it's only been 4 days... I wasn't well.

It was now 7:36 pm, the bright red sky of hell, slowly getting darker and darker.

But I stayed awake, after all I doubt I could sleep, so it doesn't hurt to wait a little longer.

I've spoken to the imp and I have a feeling I should be on my toes, especially after asking royalty for jobs.

Obviously I gave the approximate address of the building and didn't say which floor I was on, after all safety should never be overlooked.

Mainly in hell, so I was currently sitting on a chair, next to the window.

I leaned my head against the wall and started thinking about my situation and how I might be in danger.

*I asked a demon for a job.* - I thought.

Honestly, while I think this is a terrible idea, I think it 's the only one I have.

I also started to think about Charlie's hotel, but gave up on that plan due to the fact that it's not ready yet, which I think shows that the timeline is organized differently.

Then I remembered one detail.

In case my memory was n't wrong, I think in the pilot episode of Helluva Boss, Charlie appears on a cell phone (or was it a computer?) and the loona is watching.

Then.... Does this mean that the pilot episode of Helluva Boss and hazbin hotel take place at the same time? Perhaps.

*Time travel is confusing*

I was then thinking about how to proceed if this plan fails.

But mostly, thinking about the fanfics I've read about a similar situation.

And I realized that NONE of that applies here.

In the stories, the guy who goes to another world usually has some power to defend himself.

Or more common, simply the luck of falling under the care of someone who will protect him and in the end everything is fine, the demons are good except for the villain of the story and that's it.

Happy ending.

You know, I don't know if I mentioned this before, but... It's very strange to see this world the way I do.

I'm not going to lie, it's cool at first, but when you realize that any slip could get you killed, you start to rethink your concepts.

Not to mention the appearance of the inhabitants of hell, at least the ones I've seen.
