10 - problems, tea and perspective

Honestly, I know I'm going to get in trouble.

I know my luck and considering I'm in the Helluva Boss universe, clearly I can't expect everything to magically work itself out.

So try to imagine my situation today.

Naturally I woke up today, September 9th and found Lilica, sleeping on my chest as if she didn't have any problems in the world.

So I got up, took a shower, ate something to last until lunch time and also gave her food and water.

*Thank God there was still a store that sold animal products, and I was able to buy food for her. * - I think as Babs starts to eat.

Eu so get out from my room, already tidy for another day of work...

But it didn't last long.

Well around 10:45, Tom came to me.

It was obvious that he wasn't going to give up on making my life hell... metaphorically, because he already it's literally...I think... You get it.

But II learned that the worst kind of enemy is the one who pretends to be a friend.

So I immediately got worried when he came to me with a smile and talking excitedly to me:

"Gustav, my friend, I have great news for you."

I stopped walking and turned to him, I immediately started to wonder what he was planning.

And for a moment his smile faded, indicating that he realized I suspected something but he soon resumed his smile and continued:

"My dear, I am pleased to inform you that the tasks of cleaning the hallways, bathroom, as well as helping in the kitchen will no longer be your role."

Okay... I already know something horrible is coming next - I thought while raising my eyebrow.

"You will now just be in charge of cleaning the rooms and that." - he takes a small piece of paper from his pocket. It is extended for me..

I reluctantly took the list from his hand.

"Okay, go now because she's waiting, see you later." - he says, walking away without looking back and clearly with a smile like someone who has just screwed up someone's life on purpose.

I sighed and looked at the paper and...

"Wait... what?" - I say looking at the only sentence on the paper.

((Replace Steve and do the tasks previously assigned to him.))

Gustav is in trouble.

And he realized that when he found out who Steve was.

*So he was the one who was thrown through the window that Stolas and I heard* - Gustav thought.

He receives information from other employees, with expressions that vary from pity to mockery.

For he knew that now the real challenge begins.

"What does that mean?" - says Stella looking at Gustav with a look of disgust/hate.

*Calm down Gustav* - he thought for the hundredth time.

Basically Stella had a "tea time" with some random nobles.

And guess who should serve them.

"Ma'am, as I said before, Tom appointed me to serve..."

"I know that you idiot, I want to know why you and not the same old servant or anyone else besides you." - Stella interrupts, clearly irritated (as always)
