Part 7 - first day and... conflicts

I do not know what to think.

I was lying on my makeshift bed, the light from my cell phone illuminating my face.

I obviously don't have a signal, internet or anything to make it work the hell out of it.

So I was basically taking notes.

Things I can expect from today.

It's now 6:23 and I ended up waking up early and couldn't go back to sleep, so I started to get my mindset ready for the day.

I'm not an idiot, the first few days are the worst and after what happened at the gate yesterday I was pretty sure I apparently pissed someone off with power.

Obviously what happened with the guard could end up getting me into trouble, but I don't care.

I'm making a list on my cell phone of things I have to do so I can at least try to survive in this mansion/palace.

My list is sorted by priority.

The list is:

-establish a routine - I need to know what my routine will be, mainly to prevent people from taking advantage of me, after all I'm a newbie.

-set up a map of the place - I need to know where interesting points are that I can access, yesterday I got lost while looking for a bathroom and I think I almost got caught by someone from the Goetia family.

-knowing where to get information - I know that Stolas has information, mainly in that book he lends to the blitz... but obviously it won't be easy to get access to it, so I better not rush.

-avoid the Goetia, especially Stella -

I'm not stupid to be interacting with them for no reason and especially Stella that if it's like in the series, I'll have a lot of problems.

I need to do this quickly, as I know that Stolas' spellbook is still here, but in the future, blitz will get him to start his company.

And let's face it, it's not exactly a good idea for me to steal from a group of demons that specialize in killing humans.

But I can't rush either, I can't just ask Stolas about the book, I need to learn times where I could sneak in and get access to the book.

"This is going to be more complicated than it looks" - I say as I stand up.

I go to the bag where the clothes I bought are and start to unfold the clothes.

"I think I'd better get ready." - I say as I start taking off my clothes.

On yesterday's envelope, there was a message advising me to go to the property manager's office, so I thought I'd better go find that place.

I put on the clothes I bought yesterday and started to get ready.

*I hope this office is on this floor, this place is much bigger than it looks.* - I think as I start fixing my hair.

I finish getting ready and start picking up everything that can be necessary.

The papers that were delivered to me yesterday I put in my pants pocket along with my cell phone.

Eu I placed the sunglasses, I'll avoid drawing attention to my eyes, but I know I'll be taking them off soon.

Then it will be better to leave it in storage, attached to my belt with the strap.

And of course, the gloves to avoid problems with the ring and also for style.
