Marlene's POV:

"Are you sure I don't need to come with you?" Dorcas asks for the tenth time this morning. I grin and kiss her forehead. "I'm sure! I can take care of myself just fine, you know that."

But I do love it when you get all overprotec- tive girlfriend with me. I mean, it's super hot, gotta admit it.

"OK, I'll be at Panda's today. So if you need me, I'll probably be there." Panda, or just Pandora is the only one of her friend group that hasn't joined the war. I still feel so bad for 'Cas that she lost most of her friends when they became Death Eaters.

"Sure, say hello for me. And yes, I'll say hello to Petey for you too!" Cas' smile grows and she wraps her arms around my waist. "That's my girlfriend."

After we make out once more, we go our seperate ways: Cas visits Pandora while I go check on Peter. I've noticed he's a bit quiet lately, I want to check up on him. I haven't told him I'm coming, but that's fine, it'll be fine by him.

I apperate there. He's living alone now, since Lily and James had to go into hiding because of the damn prophecy. I want to knock, but hear a female voice inside. Petey's got a girl- friend?!

I peer through the window, but I can't see properly. I decide to walk around the back carefully to see who it is. "I didn't know I had a straight bestie."

But when I look through the window, I start losing all sense of hearing. What in Merlin's name?!

What the fuck is Bellatrix doing at Pete's house? I already have my wand in hand, ready to strike, in order to protect my friend.

However, Petey doesn't look like he's facing death. He looks nervous, but than, Petey always looks a bit uncomfortable. And I mean, this is Bellatrix, Sirius' crazy older cousin! We all feel weird around her.

Bellatrix isn't pointing her wand at him, either. She's literally holding it between her two index fingers, kind of twisting it.

A shock goes through my body when I realise what this must mean. What it has to mean.

Either she really is torturing him, but stalling just to play with him (which I gotta say, I wouldn't put past her). Or he's really the spy... But if so, not for the Order, I'm sure.

Whatever it is I should believe, I have to decide quickly.

'This is Petey, just good old Pete. I know Petey.'

Well, I think I know everyone. I thought I knew Mary would join the Order with us, yet she didn't.

'He would never voluntarily be in a room with Sirius' crazy cousin.'

If he's actually on their side, he'll have had no choice on who to be around.

'I never saw the Mark on Petey.'

He can hide that. There's so many ways to hide a bloody tattoo.

'He could never betray us all like that.'

Neither would any of the others, but one of us is a spy. That's what Dumbledore told James and Lily.

'Dumbledore would've figured Petey out.'

I freeze when Petey's gaze shifts in my direction. I can only hope I hid myself fast enough to not be seen. I desperately want to help him, but I simply can't. Not when I don't even know if he needs my help.

I want to look again, but I'm too afraid they'll be looking my way. I have to be careful right now, now's not the time for being reckless. It's a good thing it's not Sirius being here.
