The charity event is in two days, I decided to bring Nate with me. Yes, I'm back in Las Vegas. I was going to stay with Ashanti but I learned Nate has a house that's literally close by Ashanti's so he's staying there and I'll stay at her house.

Yes, Nate is rich, like me. But seriously that man is filthy rich and he has all my favorite cars. There's one car I left with Ashanti, it's my Range Rover. She's basically been driving it more than she uses her car, which doesn't bother me.

Nate is back at his house and I wanted to make my rounds. Neither dad or Ashanti knows I'm here but when I go see her I'm bringing Nate.

Knowing dad is at work, I stop by his office. Now what car am I taking, It's Nate's Porsche. He said I can use it so I'm definitely taking advantage of it.

I drive over to the building and walk inside. Everyone already knows who I am because of my dad so I just take the elevator up to his floor. Once I'm there I walk down the hall and knock on his door.

'Come in' I hear him say. I've missed my father so much. Of course we talk on the phone but I miss seeing him.

I open the door and close it.

"Hi dad." I say to him. He looks up from his computer, looking shocked to see me here. Well, I never mentioned it.

"Myra, darling you're here." The wide smile is evident of how much he missed me.

I go up and give him a hug. A tight one at that. He kisses my forehead and I pull away.

"I've missed you." I smile.

"I've missed you so much!" Since he's up from his desk I sit down in his chair. He laughs.

"How are you, also you're here unannounced." I laugh.

"Dad, I'm good actually great. My business is amazing. Yes, I'm here unannounced, what want me to leave. How is everything with you?"

He gives me a look, "Hell no. Just so happy to see my little girl. I'm great by the way, couldn't be better." I've always wanted to see my dad thriving in life and he's doing just that.

"Im glad, but dad I'm not so little anymore." We both laugh.

"You know I'm so proud of you. You've made a name for yourself and I couldn't be any happier. I've seen all the news outlets about you and your business and how you're not only the highest paid businesswoman actually CEO but you have so many people looking up to you. You have a successful career and for that I'm proud of the woman you are."

Hearing my father say that brings tears to my eyes. I know my mom would be so proud of me.

"Dad, thank you! See I'm crying and that's just something I didn't want to do." I laugh.

He gives me a hug.

"You're mom is so proud of you, I know it. She looking down at her baby girl seeing how much of a woman you've becoming." I look at him and smile. That's all I've ever wanted to hear.

"Don't make me ugly cry now." I laugh.

"Anyways how long are you here. Actually I know why you're here it's the charity event happening." I nod.

"Yes, that's one of the reasons why I'm here but also I wanted to see everyone. I may be here for a week." He nods.

"Well I'm glad to see your face. Did you bring a plus one or it's just you?" Well know I have to tell him.

"I brought one of my guy friends or whatever. He's also in the business industry so we went down here together. Actually once I leave here I'm going to see Ashanti and I'm bringing him." He rolls his eyes.
