Chapter 13

My POV

Mui had been nice enough to take me home

"Thank you for taking me home"

I felt his fingers graze mine and I felt my cheeks heat up

"They're so warm"

I looked up to see him staring at me already

"How did Gyomei get his sight back?"

"Wow, he's blunt"

I stared at him for a hard second and then looked straight ahead at the moon

"I'm not sure, it was the same thing with the Master but, we couldn't figure out why..."

He seemed to notice that I really was being truthful because he dropped the subject. It was quiet the rest of the way but I held his hand. It made me feel calmer, and he seemed to not mind

Muichiro's POV

I don't remember much, but when it comes to her then I just can't seem to let her memory go

"These feelings are weird"

Once she held my hand I thought I felt sick, I felt my face get warm and my hands felt a little clammy

"I'll just rest when I get home"

I shook my head and just let her hold my hand. It seemed that she forgot her mask at Uzui's estate because I now only realized how pretty she looked in the moonlight. Her E/C eyes shone beautifully and her long/short hair swayed as we walked

"Yea, I just need rest...."

3rd Person's POV

The stoic hashira stood at the doorway of his fellow swordsman's home. Her estate was big with the shape of a rectangle. She had windows that reached the ceiling all the way to the floor with white curtains to go along with them. Tiny pebbles were scattered on the floor and plants decorated the grass. She had fruit tree's growing and little critters running around

"Thank you again Mui"

Said Hashira simply nodded and headed back home before she could say anything else

"I'll just hurry and go sleep"

Y/N headed inside and slipped off her sandals and headed straight into her room. She looked at Kotori's spot in the corner, squinted her eyes and mumbled

"I guess she's not here yet"

She changed into more comfortable clothing and laid down in her futon

"I'll figure it out"

As the girl drifted off into sleep she saw a dark figure above her before she slipped into her dreamland

I looked around to see an empty black void
