Chapter 25

3rd Person's POV

Inosuke and Y/N had found some stairs

"Let's head up there"

Y/N whispered towards Inosuke as he nodded

"Something's wrong"

They saw the food outside the door of Makio's room and stood quiet before Inosuke yelled out

"Here we are, sittin' around, doing nothing! That's not my style!"

Y/N ran behind Inosuke as he opened the doors. A slight breeze was felt and Inosuke grabbed the ramen next to him and threw it towards the ceiling

"Hey coward! I'm onto you!"

Soon the room ceiling to shake

"We have to catch this damn thing before it gets away"

Inosuke and Y/N ran behind the demon as Inosuke recklessly caused havoc

"We apologize!"

Y/N shouted behind her towards the startled girls. Inosuke was about to punch a drunkard before Y/N pulled him back

"That's too early! It's going downstairs!"

Inosuke nodded and followed the Hashira

"Damnit! How'd we lose it?! They got in our way!"

My POV

I had taken a nightly walk in order to try and sense the demons

"There's a very powerful demon here. But where are they?"

I let out a breath as I walked down the street. Soon I felt a strong presence in an alleyway to my left. I turned my head only to be pulled by the arm by someone

"Who goes there!?"

I pulled my arm back as I looked up/down to see a very familiar face

"Well hello my dear"

My eyes widened

"Muzan...."

He smiled slightly as he pushed a loose hair out of the way. His piercing red eyes looking straight into mine

"W-what're you-"

He placed a finger on my lips

"That's not important right now, I just came to see you"

My heartbeat quickened as he leaned in closer to my lips

"I missed you"

My body froze as his cold lips touched mine. His hand snaked around my waist while the other cupped my cheek

"I missed this"

My hands landed on his shoulders as my eyes fluttered shut

"My offer still stands"
