Kion slowly opened his eyes to the watering hole he saw his scar's
reflection in. He quickly got up and started running more and more away from the Pridelands. He crossed a snowy mountain and a desert he was still running until he collapsed near an icy lake.
"Let's go Baliyo if we finish the patrol soon then we can rest." Sahasi said to his son.
"But dad why do we patrol anyway there's no one attacking the Tree Of Life?"
"It's because some animals also come here to seek refuge and while we also ensure no one comes without permission." Ananda said to him.
"And besides patrolling is a lot of fun Baliyo, I just can't wait when I grow up and lead the night pride." Rani said with a smile.
"Yes Rani but don't forget one day Baliyo will lead the night pride and you will be the queen of the Tree Of Life."
"Night Pride, Night Pride there's a lion at the pass but he looks unconscious."
"Ok thank you Ullu we will take it from here." Sahasi said running at the pass with everyone following from behind.
Once they reached the pass the saw a lonely Lion with golden fur and red mane but the main thing that caught Sahasi's and Ananda's attention was his scar.
"Could it be is he from the Pridelands?" Sahasi questioned in his mind.
"Hey it's a lion cub but what's he doing over here and where are his parents?" Baliyo asked.
"I don't know Baliyo." Rani said coming a little closer to the lion.
"Rani don't, we don't know if he is a threat or not."
"Sahasi what happened we came as fast as we could!" Surak said with Nirmala coming from behind.
"There's a lion cub over here but I don't know if he is a threat or not."
"Come on Sahasi it's a one little cub."
"*sigh* Ok Nirmala can you wake him up."
Nirmala nodded as she quickly walked towards the lion, she then proceeded to keep her ear on his chest and she heard his heart beating.
"He is unconscious alright." Nirmala said.
"Con you wake him up?" Sahasi asked.
"I don't know but I will try." Nirmala said as she started to move him with her paw. After sometime he was fully awake but then saw the Night Pride which sacred him as he quickly got up and moved a little behind growling at them.
"No no no we are not here to hurt you." Nirmala said in her soothing voice.
After hearing her, he calmed down a little but didn't let his guard down.
Sahasi moved forward to ask some question but the lion cub quickly went behind.
"So lion cub what's your name?"
"My name is Kion."
"Kion, hmm that name means leader." Everyone turned around to see Janna saying those words.
"Mother wait we still don't know where he came from." Sahasi said.
"Sahasi he is just a cub he cannot do any harm."
"Ok but onto my next question where did you come from?"
"Uhh from the Pridelands."
As soon he said Pridelands everyone gasped but Sahasi became more angry.
"What you are from the Pridelands how dare you come to the Tree Of Life!"
"Ttthis is The Tree Of Life."
