Kion And Rani:Two Destinies

Episode 11:Arrival

Kion went back to his den and sat down with exhaustion. He thought that this day was very exhausting but then he remembered that this day was the day when Rani confessed her feelings to him. He couldn't believe it, he was the one Rani chose out of all the options. As he took a sigh of relief he went back when he was a cub he remembered how King Sahasi was not ready to believe that he could be a Tree Of Life resident but after he saved him from Jehanamu, he finally accepted him. But then he went way back when he lived in the Pridelands with his family. He grinned as he thought those memories. He remembered that everyday was a new torture for him from his dad. And finally when he almost accidentally pushed Kiara, his dad gave him a scar and banished him from Pridelands. That's when after travelling for many days he reached the Tree Of Life. And that was when he met Rani for the first time.

As he was reflecting on his memories he heard some footsteps he quickly got up and stood silently. Breaking the peace of the night a voice spoke.

"Kion are you awake?" The voice said it very slowly in order to not wake up anyone else. As Kion now looked at the figure who said it he noticed that it was none other than the lioness he was just thinking of, Rani.

"Yeah I am." Kion said calmly and quietly with a smile across his face.

"What are you doing here Rani shouldn't you sleep it's very late?"

"Yeah but thinking of what happened today I just couldn't sleep." Rani answered her question.

"So why did you come here then?"

"I thought maybe if you are awake then you could accompany me  for a stroll."

"Ok besides I couldn't sleep either." Kion said beggining their walk.

"So what you were you doing before I came?" Rani said striking up a conversation.

"I was just reflecting on my past."

"What do you mean by 'your past'?" Rani asked.

"Well I was reflecting on what happened today and also way back when I was a cub."

"You mean by when my dad accepted you?"

"Yeah it crazy how he first hated because I was a Pridelander and now he wants to finally make peace with Pridelands."

"Yeah but you are now okay with it aren't you?"

"Yeah if it means staying with you I am completely ok." Kion said in a slightly teasing manner. Rani almost blushed after hearing this but controlled it."

But Rani now thought that how did actually Kion end up here. And then chose to ask him out.

"So Kion I was wondering how did you end up here?" Rani asked choosing her words wisely.

"You see Rani....." Kion then explained to her how his father never liked him because of Scar and what he did when he had the Roar. His father thought that he would be jealous of Kiara becoming queen of the Pridelands.Then he explained to her how his father reacted when he accidentally pushed Kiara and how he gave him a scar and banished him from Pridelands. And then how he came here.

"So yeah that was how I came here." Kion said completing his story.

"Oh Kion I never knew, I am so sorry." Rani said with sympathy.

"No need to be sorry it was never your fault." Kion said still looking down with sadness.

Rani then licked him on his cheeks.

"Don't worry Kion you have a great life now." Rani said hugging him.

"Yeah thank you for that." Kion said hugging her back.
