Kion And Rani:Two Destinies

Episode 10: Confession

Rani felt like she was holding an entire mountain upon her shoulders but after she said those words it felt like it has all gone.
But as soon as she turned her attention towards Kion she could see it in his face. Rage, Betrayal, Shocked.

After hearing those words Kion was paralysed for some time. He couldn't accept it. There were a millions of questions in his head. But the most important question was.

"Why did they say Yes?!" Kion thought in his mind.

Kion now finally having the power to speak.

"B-but why??!" Kion asked.

"After everything you knew you still chose to say yes!" Kion said with a bit of anger in his voice.

Sahasi quickly came in front of Rani to protect her.

"See Kion it was for the Kingdom we had to do it." Sahasi explained himself.

"And I am a part of it!" Kion said.

"And after I thought that I have found the people who I can trust!" Kion said sadly.

This sentence took Sahasi by suprise and he was shocked.

"But maybe it was never meant to be. Bye Everyone thank you for everything."

As soon as Kion said that he turned around and ran quickly towards the Mountain Pass. Rani couldn't believe it he was leaving.

"No Kion don't go!"Rani saying quickly ran behind him.

Kion was running as fast as he could. He was not seeing where he was going he was going where his legs will take him. He had started crying he saw a jungle in the distance and went in.

Rani was behind him she was calling him again and again in the hope that he would stop but he didn't even listen. After some time he entered a jungle Rani also entered it but she tripped on a tree root and when she got up she had lost track of him. She couldn't believe it how she could allow such a thing. She started wondering aimlessly in the jungle in hope to find Kion. But he was nowhere to be seen she tried picking up his scent but there were too many different types of flowers and plants with their own scent. She just then tried calling his name but it was of no use. She tried calling his name again.

"Kion-Kion!" Rani shouted.

"Looking for Kion are we princess Rani." A voice said from the jungle.

Rani attention was quickly turned towards that voice.

From the darkness came a lion. As soon as Rani saw her she knew who he was, it was Jehanamu.

"Jehanamu what are you doing here?!" Rani asked showing no fear rather rage.

"No-no-no princess the correct question is what are you doing here?" Jehanamu asked calmly.

"That's none of your business Jehanamu." Rani replied

As soon as she said it she turned behind and started walking. But just as she took her first step she saw two more lions from Jehanamu's army. She was now cornered.

"What do you want Jehanamu?!"

"You of course after the King finds out that I have his daughter then he will hand over his kingdom to me without any second thoughts." Jehanamu laughed as he ordered his lions to attack.

But Rani defended herself very well as she fought the two lions bravely she throwed dust into the first lion's eyes and then pinned the second lion. After the second lion removed the dust from his eyes he pounced on Rani but Rani quickly moved away as the second lion landed on the first lion. But Jehanamu quickly seeing the opportunity pounced on Rani from behind and pinned her down. Rani was now struggling to get up.

"Forget it Rani you will never overpower us."

"No Jehanamu just wait." Rani said still struggling.

Jehanamu just laughed at her.

But then a voice spoke.

"Get away from her Jehanamu." Kion said knocking Jehanamu on the ground and then quickly pinning him down. Kion then growled at him.

"Go away Jehanamu."

"Ohh Kion ok I will go." Jehanamu said as he and his lions went back from where they came from.

Rani got up and went towards Kion.

"Kion!"

"Rani you shouldn't be here." Kion said to her.

"And so do you Kion."

"No Rani you don't understand if my father finds out that I am here he will do something again to me like he did when I was a cub."

"Kion it won't happen this time you are all grown up."

"No Rani even if I could fight back I couldn't he is still my father and I don't want him to do something to all of you because of me."

"No Kion you don't worry I am here, my dad, my mom, my brother and the night pride us there they will protect us and they will protect you too."

"No Rani you all shouldn't struggle because of me."

"Kion-"

"No Rani and besides you still have a bright future ahead of yourself unlike me."

"No Kion that's not true."

"Yes it is Rani I am just a nobody and you, you will be the queen of this kingdom."

"But still this Kingdom needs you, I need you."

"Why would you need me Rani."

"It's because I-I-I love you."

This caught Kion completely off guard did she just say that she loves him. A million question now raised in Lion's mind but they were completely gone when Rani licked him on his cheeks. Kion now started at her eyes. He knew he also loved her but he didn't ever find the confidence to say it. He was afraid that she would reject him and then their friendship will be broken. But now he knows how she feels about him. Finally having the confidence to say it Kion said.

"The thing is I love you too Rani."

Rani now completely happy about it quickly hugged Kion by putting her head under his.

"Pls Kion don't leave me." Rani said still hugging him.

Kion thought for a second and then said to her.

"Don't worry Rani I won't."

"Thank you Kion." Rani said

"No thank you Rani." Kion said.

"Ok let's go back shall we." Rani suggested.

"Yes we shall." Kion replied.

As the two got back towards the Mountain Pass they noticed that Baliyo, Nirmala, Surak, Ananda and Sahasi were already there.
As soon as they reached Sahasi said.

"Look Kion I am sorry but if you want I can tell them not to come over here."

"Thank you Your Majesty but you are right it's the right thing for the Kingdom. And maybe I was wrong I have actually found the people I could trust." After Kion said that he looked at Rani and smiled and Rani smiled back at him.

"I am glad you understand Kion." Sahasi said with a smile.

I know and I am sorry but my exams were going on and I just couldn't find the time update this but since my vacation has started I can finally update. And maybe another episode will come in this week. I don't know. But please wait and I am very sorry this took so long. So until next episode
