Osamu and you never thought that you two would constantly see each other. Osamu was happy about it but for you though.

'Gosh, not this boy again...' You thought as you broke eye contact, looking back at the window.

'Perfect! I'm so lucky.' Osamu smiled a little. He saw an empty seat right behind you, so he went there and claimed that desk as his desk for the rest of the year.

You can sense him walking past you and sitting at the seat behind you. You mentally groaned, thinking that earlier, you shouldn't have picked this desk. But that's not a big deal, right? You could easily ignore him, maybe that way, he'll finally stop bothering you.

"Hi, Osamu-san~" A girl that was his deskmate greets him as soon as he sets his backpack on the ground and sits on the chair.

Osamu looked towards the girl, simply examining her appearance. She has blonde hair that has two pins pinned on the side, green emerald eyes, and light red color lips. It's obvious that she applies lipstick or lip gloss on her lips.

"My name is Maru Kuzanaru, it's nice to meet you, Osamu-san. I'm so happy to be your desk-mate!" She straight away introduced herself after not receiving her greeting from Osamu. Though, she did notice that Osamu was observing her, so she wouldn't mind.

Osamu just bluntly nodded before looking the other way as he spoke. "If you know my name, then call me Miya. I don't know you yet so don't ever think you could randomly use my first name. Also, I don't like someone that would annoy me. Since you're my desk mate for the rest of the year, make sure you don't disturb me."

Maru blinked a few times at how long Osamu demanded her not to do and what to do. This guy is gonna be a bit hard for her to make friends with, but she's not giving up that easily. If she acts nice, then maybe Osamu will pay attention to her and be her friend.

Then, she can move on to another level.

"T-that's a lot, but I want to be your friend, Osa- I mean, Miya-san." Maru said, smiling widely at him.

But Osamu didn't notice it since he was looking somewhere else. "Then do yer best. I'm not the type of person that was "friendly" to anybody."

"Of course I will try my best! Just you wait, Miya-san. After this day, you will officially be my friend!" She exclaimed with confidence.

Osamu just didn't really care about what his deskmate was saying. If she tries her best then just let her try her best. It might be a waste, but he doesn't give a f*ck.

What Osamu cares about is you. Just like how Maru acted towards him, he wanted to act the same way but towards you. He wants to be your friend, he wants to know about you. He will sacrifice his time and chances just to make you his friend, whether or not it would be a waste, at least he tried.

Osamu cleared his throat to get your attention, but you didn't budge. You were busy scribbling your notebook after minutes of staring outside. The clear sky was so bright that it might hurt your eyes from staring at it for long, so you decided to rest your eyes.

It's not a good thing to have bad eyesight on your first day in high school. High school must be an important year for you since there are three more years before you go to college or university. High school can decide your future career. So you reminded yourself that you should be serious in these three years, even though you're in the average class.

Osamu didn't see how concentrated you are as you scribble on your notebook. Therefore, he cleared his throat again but it's much louder. To be honest for you, you heard it. But you don't buy it, you just simply ignored him. Since you're in the front seat of his, you couldn't tell whether he was calling out to you too.
