Kore wa saiakudesu [これは最悪です]... Yes, it means [This is the worst].

You thought that you could get away from being the maid by the suggestion of the maid cafe, and yes you did. Maid outfit is your enemy since you are not a pick-me girl. But a new worst case came, and it involved being the maid as well. Plus, it's getting worse as you need to perform on the stage in front of probably everyone in Inarizaki High. Despite that you are glad that your role didn't stay long on the stage.

In another scenario, you felt bad for Osamu. His very own hand picks the role that he doesn't tend to pick in a million years, which is the prince. The worst part for him was that his princess was Maru. Like what your class suggested the story to be, it does not require any disney movies or any fairytale stories, yet it still be a prince-and-princess roleplay story.

Indeed, your classmates are always good with mind in the non-ordinary subject. They might have already planned it ahead before the exam starts. Similarly, they guarantee they will pass the exam. That's why this role as a maid appeared. Normally, stories like prince-and-princess mostly focused on love. So why bother putting the role as a maid in?

But it's also your fault for voting the one activity you wouldn't want to vote for. Mainly because cafes are one of your and Osamu's favourites, but what if the outfit that requires it was awkward. Also, you never thought Osamu would vote for the same activity you voted on. Was he ashamed that he was on a different page as you? Humans in daily life, especially to the ones that love to be quiet or individualistic, have their own opinions in their mind.

In conclusion, Osamu in the end plays the role of a prince isn't your fault, it's his fault to begin with. He should know that. Karma exists in this world, it makes it cruel yet satisfied sometimes. Is karma and regretful feelings the same? It could be and it could be not. Even so, you should blame yourself too.

Your dumb brain thinking that randomly drawing lots could give you a role that aren't important or stand out too much. Yes, you got the unimportant role but still it stands out. This visibly shows that one side of your shoulder has a little angel sitting on it while another side of your shoulder has a little devil sitting on it. The angel plays the beautiful melody with its tiny harp and it brings you luck, while the devil pokes your brain with its trident and it disintegrates half of your brain.

Currently, your class is allowed to use the school halls to practice the drama activity. School festival is only a few days away so who knows if there's enough time to rehearse all of the parts in the story (that were originally created by your classmate). Not all of your classmates took part in the story.

At least three of them became the director that orders everyone to do stuff. Some of them became the makeup artist and the fashion artist that does the makeup and picks the clothes. Some of them became the prop of the story like walls, sun or moon, trees and even a human being butterfly.

Yeah, that.

You know how dramatic that part is when almost every princess in disney movies or fairytale stories has to touch the butterfly and talk with them, or maybe not the butterfly but animals or birds. For instance, refers to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or Sleeping Beauty.

Anyways, back to the timeline. Since it is still Day 1 of the rehearsal, the students that take part in the roleplay don't have to wear the outfit or put on makeup. Day 1 is just full of trying out the script and actions. Your role in the story was to pour the tea to the King and Queen, talk to the princess, and lastly get attacked by a knight that broke into the house- I mean, the cardboard-made castle.
