Knock knock knock.

It's past 5 o'clock in the noon, the knocking sound from your front door makes you wondered who would came visiting your house at this hour. Your parents won't be coming back home until 9 o'clock in the evening. You went from the living room to the front door as you thought twice before opening the door.

None other than Osamu showed up to your house. It was out of nowhere but can you blame him for coming? His eyes were red and puffed, his gray-haired locks became a mess, his lips dried and he brought nothing except for his phone and himself. He must have cried for a long time.

"May I come in?" His muttering voice made it to your ears, still a sad tone. It's been a long while to see him in this state. You can't even remember the last time you saw him like this.

You let him in. "You're lucky that my parents aren't home yet."

"It's not like yer parents wouldn't let me in."

"Don't forget about my overprotective dad, Osamu."

Both of you settled down in the living room. The quietness was louder than the normal breathing sounds or nature sounds. Osamu came to your house for a reason, he has to be. No in the stupid way he would just come here for nothing. If so, you would have kicked him out of the house.

Losing the National tournament on the second day just hits hard for him and the team. They came, won the first match and then the second loses, they had to pack away again. Going back to the same old Hyogo. They had given their best, although they messed with Karasuno's Team at the beginning. They shouldn't be that selfish yet that's what they went for.

Well at least, lessons learned.

"I'm sorry." Osamu apologized after a long moment of silence. "I'm sorry for losing. It's my fault for not practicing hard enough. I'm sorry for not listening to you." You could see his tears formed. "I let down the third-years, and my teammates. I didn't improve much like 'Tsumu because I'll never be like him."

"You know you're an idiot like yer own brother?"

"...Is this a way you comfort me?"

"Let me get straight to the point." Rather than looking at him solemnly, you looked up on the ceiling. Poured out the words you needed to say to him. "My eyes were on you most of the time and you did greater than you thought you did although you look a bit slack off. You faced the chibi middle blocker even though you were scared of him, and you dared to do the minus-tempo attack, like it's insane for me to watch."

It did, Osamu wasn't expecting you to be a lot more observant, especially when you talked about him.

"You did absolutely amazing out there. It would seem as if somebody blamed you for not being good enough and losing the match. However, nobody acts like that. The cheering team still cheers for you, the audience still claps for you, and you still amaze me till the end." Osamu felt your hand pulled him from the head, embracing him to your shoulder. "So if you think you're a loser, then you thought wrong. Don't ever let negative thoughts come for you, ya got that?"

Straight away, he relaxed on your shoulder as you stroked his soft minty-fresh scent grey hair. The heavy stress that weighs him down on his chest slowly decreases. He felt safe, you were his home. Those encouraging words may have sounded offensive at the beginning, but now it featured the "keep moving forward" spirit.

Both of you cuddled with just the presence of each other around the cold living room. It's almost the time for your parents to come home and so you need to prepare dinner for them plus have Osamu to go back home. Gently patted his back which snapped out of his nearly dozing.
