For the next day, you tied your hair in a high ponytail instead of what you did yesterday. Well, it's because your mom's gifted ribbon was gone.
'Great, this is just a second day of school and my ribbon is gone.' You thought as you walked by the roadside, heading towards a bus stop that was near your neighborhood.
Indeed you keep the missing ribbon a secret from your mom because it is such a precious thing you received from her and afraid that she will buy another one for you. She's so kind that sometimes you feel bad. Your parents love you so much because you're the only child in the family. Mom couldn't get pregnant anymore and your parents didn't plan on adopting new siblings for you too.
One is enough to make the family living happily.
Though, one thing you are sure of was that your parents worked so hard, like extra hard. Every night, you would meet them exhausted coming back home. Of course, you're the one who prepares dinner for them and yourself. Whenever they come back home late, they always reassured you to eat dinner first and left the leftovers for them to heat by themselves. Sometimes, they bought takeovers for themselves to eat either at work or in the car.
So yeah, basically most of the time, you're alone in the house. You don't blame your parents though since they work for a big company. You understand them, and you're not mad at them.
Big companies do involve business trips. Yeah, that.
But you're a teenager now, not a junior anymore. You're in high school, not in middle school anymore. You're big enough to take care of yourself. And that wouldn't worry your parents for sure.
You plug in your earphones to your ear, blast out music as you wait for the bus to arrive. Tiredly let out a yawn with your hands covering your mouth. Your mind starts drifting to where you've lost your ribbon. You're pretty sure you've tied the ribbon tightly on your certain strands of hair. How did it fall? Can the ribbon loosen up after a while or hours? Okay, that could be possible, to be honest. Well, guess you have to quickly find back the ribbon or else mom will find out soon.
The bus engine caught your ears, it has arrived. You get in, scan your card, tell the driver where you are headed and go to find a seat. The bus was packed, not surprised at all. Every morning was packed with lots of different schools of junior and high school students and adults. No seat was found for you to sit, you went to an open path and stood there, hands gripping tightly on the railing to prevent you from falling into someone.
No, not fall (in love) with somebody. Just a casual fall.
The open path was a great idea for you, whereas there's no stranger danger around. Like what you mention, the bus was packed with teenagers, juniors, and adults. The bus that you boarded on was not always the same bus you board every day.
The same and different buses will pass by every bus stop to pick up people that don't have any transportation. Eventually, taking a bus can be really hard. You have to overcome the heat or the cold, have different passengers every day, seats full, awkward tension, and much more stuff that you can experience when boarding on a bus.
The same goes with boarding trains. What was different about boarding a bus or a train was their speed limits. The bus was slow while the train was fast. Maybe another difference was their charge. The train was more expensive than the bus. A few minutes later, the bus came to a stop at Inarizaki High. You thanked the bus driver beforehand and stepped out of the bus. You take a look at your phone screen to check on time.
