Chapter 24

Suspension

2 weeks later.

"You what?!" 

Padabog kong sinara ang pintuan nang kuwarto ni kuya Prinze at lumukot ang mukha ko sa sinabi niya.

"You heard me Roberta." He repeated. "Me and Zam got to together."

"You really like that whore, stupid and flirty bitch?!" Tumaas ang boses ko. "Hindi mo ba alam ang pinagagawa ni Zamantha sa'yo noon?"

"I don't know why you're saying that pero naging kayo naman ni Matt?" nabalik saakin ang pinagsasabi ko sakaniya. Wala akong nasabi. Zam flirted with Matt before, pero I talked to Matt at ayaw niya naman kay Zam pero si Matt parin ang nilandi niya.

After Matt admitted his feelings for me, I reciprocated what I feel for him. After all, naghihintayan lang pala kami nang mga sinasabi namin para sa isa't isa.

"Huwag mo nga idamay si Matt!" I fired back. "If you only know 'yang jowa mo ang pumatol kay Matt. Siya ang nauna, pinatulan ba ni Matt? Hindi!" Sagot ko pabalik.

I was getting frustrated with my brother. I know he'll get hurt by Zamantha. I don't trust that woman either. I know she's planning something that will hurt my brother.

"Bawal ko idamay si Matt pero tinawag mong whore si Zam?" 

"Yes, she is a whore, a flirt and a shitty asshole!" I screamed at my brother. I became disrespectful.

He seemed hurted of what I have said. "Get out," he pointed at the door. "GET OUT!" his voice thundered.

"I'M JUST TRYING TO DEFEND YOU FROM THAT WOMAN!" I screamed at him. "Tapos papaalisin mo ako?"

"Bakit? pinayagan naman kita kay Matt ah? did I say something about Matt? Did I badmouthed him? No!"

"Matt is a good person," I sighed heavily. "Zam is not," I say.

"You're being selfish and one-sided." He says.

"What?!" I say in disbelief. "It's true! she's a two faced cunt, and a whore!"

"GET OUT I SAID!" His voice thundered. "I DON'T NEED A SLUTSHAMER HERE!" 

"Fine!" I roll my eyes then left his room. Sa inis ko, I just slept the whole day and when the next day came, I went to school for our quarterly assessment. When I was about to enter the room, I saw Zam kissing a man in the hallway. My jaw dropped and my fist clenched.

"Hey," Matt called me. "Love, are you okay?" he ask.

"That filthy!" Tinalikuran ko si Matt at sinugod si Zam. "You fucking asshole!" she looked at me but my hand slapped her face. Nagulat naman 'yong lalaki nang sinampal ko si Zam.

"Ang kapal nang mukha mo!" I pushed her on the floor. "Pinapaasa mo 'yong kapatid ko!"

"Roberta what are you doing!" she was trying to push me away pero pinaghihila ko ang buhok niya.

"Ano ba!" inaawat ako nila Matt pero patuloy akong nananakit kay Zamantha. She kicked my stomach kaya napa atras ako at natumba.

Zamantha started to cry at niyakap pa siya noong lalaking nilalandi niya. Susugod pa sana ako pero pinigilan na ako nila Matt. Ma'am Briela came and she witnessed the whole chaos that was happening. 

"Ms Barraquias and Ms Devega what is happening here?!" she gritted her teeth.

Gulo gulo ang itsura ni Zam at tumayo kaming dalawa nang magkaharap kami. "Rinig na rinig ang away ninyo sa faculty room!"

"Ma'am sinugod ako ni Roberta!" sumbong ni Zamantha at tinuro pa ako gamit ang daliri niya.

"Because you're playing with my brother!"

"ENOUGH!" Ma'am Briela's voice thundered. "GO TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE, BOTH OF YOU, NOW!" 

Nang pumunta kami sa Principal's office, pinaupo kami ni Zam nang magkaharapan. Nakatayo sa tabi ko si Matt at sa harap ko ay si Zam at 'yong lalaki.

"Upon viewing the CCTV footage, si Roberta ang nagsimula nang away." The principal said.

"Ma'am I don't know why she did that," Zam started to cry. "I was just talking to my friend."

"You're kissing him!" I cut her off.

"Enough!" The principal interfered. "Conversation has ended. Zamantha you may go, and you Roberta, you've created a such violent behavior in this school! Magkaroon ka naman nang kahihiyan! hawak hawak mo ang malaking pangalan pero nakikiaway ka lang pala, with that you're suspended."

My jaw dropped. "What? Ma'am no please," I begged but she stood up and left the Principal's office. Bumalik lang din siya kaagad at umupo sa swivel chair.

"I'll call your guardian with your actions."

"Ma'am please no...." I begged. "I was just trying to protect my brother."

"Protect in a way na you chose violence?"

Hindi ako nakasalita.

When I went home with my Grandma and my brother, I sat on the couch dahil kakausapin daw nila ako.

"Roberta what are you thinking?!" Grandma's voice was in a frustration tone.

"I just defended my brother." I answer. "Didn't you see the CCTV? Zamantha was kissing a guy."

"Wala naman iyon sa CCTV." My brother said. With that, my jaw dropped in disbelief. Paano naman nangyari iyon? 

"You started the chaos with your false accusation Roberta!" my brother said in a frustrated tone.

"Paanong hindi niyo nakita? may hinahalikan siyang lalaki doon!" I say.

"You're being paranoid! how can you hurt her Roberta?"

"What? ako pa talaga 'yong mali rito?" I stood up. getting angry at him. 

"Kitang kita sa CCTV footage Roberta!" Grandma says.

"It was a one sided footage!" my voice thundered. "She probably payed the Principal para macut 'yong CCTV footage!"

"Stop it Roberta!" Grandma says. "You're grounded!"

"I can't believe you Roberta..." my brother shook his head. "I thought we're a team...." he says.

"Huh?" my eyes furrowed. "Yes we are!"

"But you're selfish." He said. "I can't believe you." He shook his head and left he house.

I walked out as well and lock myself in the room. I screamed in anger and started to punch the wall. Fucking unfair!
