In the exclusive neighborhood of Bel Air, Kang Thia and Huening Kai live as long-time neighbors who share an unusual friendship.
When Thia's father goes on a business trip for two days, she...

Kai filled another glass with punch and saw Sangheon coming down the stairs. Earlier, he had seen this boy disappear upstairs with Thia and wondered where they had been until now.
And why he returned without her.
The queasy feeling spreading through him was hard to ignore and when Sangheon met one of his friends, the latter patted him appreciatively on the shoulder. The greeting was lost in the loud chatter of the crowd and thus Kai could not hear what was said. Again, his gaze slid upward and he waited to see if Thia would make an appearance.
But even after several minutes, she did not come, stirring up apprehension in Kai.
"Did you really do it?" a voice rang out as a boy with Sangheon in tow suddenly passed behind Kai to grab some of the punch. Which was why Kai could listen better now.
Sangheon snorted snidely, but seemed very confident and proud.
"Of course. She was really easy to have."
The boy who had asked laughed and patted his buddy on the shoulder. But the teasing words were rather cruel to Kai, "Went pretty fast that number though. Was she that good or are you that bad?"
Kai contorted his face in disgust, because the conversation between the two of them annoyed him beyond belief. It was the typical behavior of an asshole and he clenched his hands into fists. He would have liked to punch them both in the face for the way they were talking about Thia. She didn't deserve to be talked about like that and it didn't sound like it had gone positively either.
So he doubted Sangheon wanted anything serious with the girl.
"What do you think?" the It boy laughed out, running his hands over his white shirt. "You know me, it's a piece of cake with me."
The other boy looked left and right past Sangheon, in very conspicuous movements, as if searching for something or someone. "So where is she then? Maybe she's waiting for a second round?" the guy cackled derisively, looking like he was at most cuddling around with his stuffed animals today.
Big mouth, but nothing behind it.
Sangheon shrugged and gestured a throwaway hand gesture. "Probably still in the library recovering ... - come on, let's go see who else is here. I hope Lilly's here, she's really hot," he suggested instead and they both disappeared into the crowd.
Kai's heart was beating like crazy, so angry was he at this boy's mocking behavior. He didn't know him, but he had proven that he was exactly as Kai had imagined him.
Selfish, narcissistic and an asshole.
With a wrinkled nose, he turned his back on the two boys, because even if Thia had really slept with him, he had to warn her about Sangheon. She wasn't allowed to start anything serious with such a flat stick, he was here to take care of her after all.
