As Gustav, Georg, and I made our way to the middle of the room we watched as the twins compared their schedules pointing at spots on the paper of the layout of the school. I watched as the two boys talked to one another with confused expressions on their faces, trying to understand what they might be saying. "So then right here is the cafeteria, where we are now. " Bill said, as he pointed to the left of Tom's paper. "You got that right." I said, as we reached the boys table. I watched as the two looked up at the sound of my voice, "I'm Y/N, Y/N L/N." I said, as I held my hand out. The two looked at each other for a second before looking back to me. "Bill." Bill said, as he held out his hand shaking mine. "Tom." Tom said, as he mimicked his brothers exact moves. "Ahem." Gustav replied blankly. I looked behind to see my friends waiting, Georg tilted his head and waved to me. I honestly had forgot that they were behind me.
"Oh! Sorry, these are my friends Georg," I said, "Nice to meet you." Georg replied, as he shook both the boys hands each. "and Gustav." "Hey." Gustav said, nodding as he shook the boys hands. I didn't realize how awkward it must have been for the two. One minute they were trying to figure out the schools layout and where's where, when all of a sudden some girl and her friends start shaking your hand. We all stood there for a second in silence staring at one another waiting for someone to say something. The chatters and laughter of other students filled the quietness for us all. "Can we sit here?" I asked, in hopes the boys would say yes so we wouldn't have to awkwardly all stand. "Sure you can." Tom said. We all sat on the bench across. I was in the middle, Georg on my left, and Gustav on my right. "So are you two finding it okay to find your way around the school?" I piped up, hoping to break the ice. "Honestly....not really." Bill replied, with a light smile. "That's okay, what places are you finding the most hard to find?" "Where the bathrooms are located." Bill said, showing me his schedule with the layout. "You see room 36 right here?" I asked, pointing to the spot on the layout. Bill nodded, "The bathrooms are right across from it." I said, as I traced my finger from room 36 to 2 doors that had the male and female sign printed out on them. "Great, thanks!" Bill gleamed, "You're welcome! If you ever need any help my friends and I are more than welcome to help." Bill nodded and smiled. He had a really sweet smile, seeing him smile made me smile.
"Do you guys know where Mr. B-B-B..." Tom said, eyeing his schedule getting closer to it attempting to read one of the teachers names off it. "Mr. Bwedin's class is?" I furrowed my eyes brows in confusion looking at Gustav and Georg. "Mr.Brandon?" Georg questioned, "Yes, his class is?" Tom asked, smiling in embarrassment as his cheeks turned light red. Georg and Gustav smiled, I joined in too, Tom reminded me of my Father when he would try to pronounce members names of my favorite bands and singers. When I would correct my Father he would always make excuses that he was just joking or, he knew that. But I knew that he would have trouble pronouncing names epically when they had r's in their names. "His class is right next to my next class for algebra." Georg explained, "Do you have him next period?" Tom looked over at his schedule and nodded. "Great! I could walk to class with you and show you where his class is if you would like?" Georg offered, "That would be great man, thank you." Tom joyfully answered, I wish on my first day of school someone like Georg,Gustav, and I could've came up to me and asked if I needed help finding my classes.
I smiled looking at all of us sitting together, that table, in the middle of the whole cafeteria made me feel as if we all were the only ones in there. As if we had a bubble around our table blocking out all the noise around us and keeping the noise from our table inside. It felt comfortable, safe even. I looked at the clock on the wall in the very back to see there was 25 minutes left of lunch. I began to stand up and step out from my spot in the middle. "Would you guys like to get some lunch?" I offered, "Sure!" Tom replied, Bill nodded. "You don't have to ask twice!" Gustav said, rubbing his hands together. Georg and I laughed as we all made our way to the lunch line. Something about these twins are special, I can feel it,
I know it.
