Rays of light beamed through the blinds creating a ray of light into the pitch black room. I covered my eyes with my arm, what time was it? I turned to my side to see my clock, I squinted my eyes. It was 7:50..Oh well, five more minutes. I began to drift off when it hit me. 7:40!? SCHOOL STARTS AT 8:02! AH! I jolted up quickly running around my room, First I need a outfit how about.... this one! this could go well with my shoes from last night. I picked up the outfit rushing to the bathroom and began to do my morning routine. I put on the outfit straightening any wrinkles. A little touch up wouldn't hurt. I began to add little bits of makeup, nothing too much. I mean I'm going to school after all I would just sweat it all off probably in P.E, I styled my hair and added a few accessories. I looked in the mirror, Perfect! I stared at myself for a little bit before realizing I was on a timer.

I grabbed my phone flipping it open to texts.

Georg: Hey Y/N you coming today?

Gustav: You coming?

Gustav: hellloooo

Gustav: Are you seriously mad at me it was a joke

Gustav: You can't stay mad at me forever :( I'm too handsome, you can't stay mad at this pretty face forever ;)

Yikes!

I scrolled through my unopened messages

Unknown: Hey! Is this Y/N? This is Bill from school, Georg gave me your number! :D

Georg gave him my number, why did he ask? Its not that big of a deal...
I quickly put Bill into my contacts as I scrolled.

Unknown: Hey this is Tom :) are you coming today?

And he gave Tom my number too?
I began to blush. How embarrassing, I hope Georg or Gustav didn't tell them anything dumb.I added Tom to my contacts as I grabbed my backpack.
I ran down the stairs almost falling, I flipped open my phone to see the time, 7:53! AH! NOO! I ran to the kitchen grabbing a apple, "Mom!" I called out, waiting for a response. "MOOOM!' I called out again. I gotta go! Where is she? I ran for the door, I saw a note taped to the door. I took it off and began reading.

"Y/N, I hope you have a good day at school. By the time you're reading this I'll be at work already. They called me in early last minute. Be good, I love you very much. Your dad will pick you up today after-school. Use your bus pass its on the kitchen table. -Love Mom ♡ "
I read the note and began to smile. Thank God! I ran to the kitchen table grabbing the bus pass as I ran out the door grabbing the key from under the mat and locking the door behind me. I ran to the nearest bus stop out of breath as I sat on a bench. I flipped open my phone to the time. 7:59! CRAP! My leg began to bounce up and down my heart beating fast. If I were to walk to school that would take even longer but the bus is taking long. My phone buzzed as I flipped it open.

Georg: Where areyou? :(

I began to type.

Y/N: Hey, I'm gonna be coming in late..I woke up late. I'm taking the bus right now and it's taking a bit. Please let the others know.

As I hit send the bus pulled up infront of me. Just in time! The busses doors opened up sending warm arm out. I hoped into the bus scanning my bus pass as I sat down next to a older woman. She had short red hair with hazel eyes, and pale skin. I smiled as she smiled back. "Good morning." I greeted, putting down my backpack. "Good morning." She smiled, "Where to?" She questioned, "School." I sighed, she nodded. "Let me guess...10th grade?" I nodded. "Yeah...How'd you know?" She played with a butterfly on her braclet. She shrugged, "Just a guess" she smiled. "I love your braclet!" I gushed, it was gold chained braclet with 5 silver butterflys. "Why thank you!"her rosy cheeks puffing out as she smiled. "You're welcome." I looked through the glass screen as I watched what road the bus driver took. Just a couple more turns. "What's your name dear?" The woman spoke her voice soft, "Y/N, ma'am." "Y/N, that's a lovely name!" She beamed, "Thank you, what's your name?" "Lieselotte" She grinned, "I love that name!"

"You're a Angel." She commented, I smiled. As I looked out the window we're right around the corner. I stood up pulling the request cord as a ringing noise came from the bus. The bus turned the corner as it pulled to a stop in front of the school. I picked up my backpack. "It was nice meeting you ma'am." I smiled to the woman, "You too dear." I began to walk when I was stopped by the woman. "Wait!" I turned back to her. "I have something for you." She had something for me? She began to unlatch her braclet from her hand. She signaled me back over. I walked back confused. "I want you to have it." "Oh no, Ma'am I-I couldn't." I explained, "No,No,No please. I Insist." She insisted, "Open your hand." "But, Ma'am..." "No buts."
She laughed. I opened my hand as she placed the braclet in my palm as she closed my hand.

"There's something about you...something good. You're a good kid." She smiled, she smiled often. It was a sweet smile. A comforting smile, a smile a Grandmother gave her Granddaughter, I could feel tears begin to gloss over my eyes. "Thank you. I won't forget this. I..." I smiled, "Needed this." She finished, "Yeah..." I laughed sniffling, "I needed this." She smiled holding onto her purse. "Thank you, have a great day." I began to walk off, "You have a great day Sweetie." She called back, I walked off the bus as I walked to the front as the doors closed behind me. I backed up looking at the bus, I saw Lieselotte looking out the window. I waved to her as I backed up.

She did the same smiling as the bus pulled away. I wiped a few tears from my eyes. The front of the school was empty. I dont know why I was crying.
I pulled out my phone the time was now 8:12. I was already late it didnt matter. She had a sweet soul. I wish for her the best wherever her destination is.
