My uncle David helped us that month. He was amazing help, it made us feel offical like we were really working on something big. He helped us with lyrics and notes to play and sing. We would perform infront of him and he would give us feedback. "I think you guys are all set."

"I cant believe the performance is in a week!" Tom exclaimed as we began to walk through out the halls during lunch. "I know!" I was exicted but of course nervous. "I can feel that A+ coming our way." Gustav grinned. "Excellent work Mr.Schäfer maybe next time don't make everyone's ears bleed." Georg laughed. Gustav pushed him into a locker. We sat down for lunch at our usual spot. "How do you think everyone else is doing with theirs?" Everyone shrugged. "I heard some girls singing reading a piece of paper in homeroom." "And?..." "There's nothing to worry about." Tom smirked. "I wonder what he's making us do this for? Mr.Müller." "Yeah, maybe he ran out of lessons to teach?" Gustav questioned. "Who knows." Georg moved his hair out of his face. "You guys wanna..."
"Get lunch?" They all said. "You guys know me too well."

The grading was simple you went on stage you preformed, you were graded academically, in length, in meaning, and overall the whole performance, and if you even did it. "What should we wear?" Bill asked, "Seriously?" Tom rolled his eyes.

"Hey we're about to be infront of the whole school I atleast want us to look good and not homeless like some people who drag their clothes." Bill rolled his eyes. "Ooooh" Gustav,Georg, and I said. "Don't even get me started." Tom was about to throw another comeback but I cut him off. "Bill's right I mean we need to go on stage looking serious too, but not too serious where they think we're taking this too serious." Everyone stared at me with a blank expression. "What?" "You're fine." Georg placed his hand on my shoulder. I was a bit tense. I needed a good grade. We couldn't go on stage and embarass ourselves infront of the whole school!

"Now about the outfits." "My suit at home is wrinkled." Gustav ate a bite of a carrot. "Seriously?" Georg shook his head. "I was thinking well what matches the name, "Durch Den Monsun"." We all grew quiet thinking. "Well if it's a Monsun it's gotta be rough and hard and dark, kinda." "Nice one Y/N." "Black and jeans." Georg added. We began to take notes on a crumbled piece of paper in Tom's pocket. "I think we've got it." "The night before I'll send a reminder to everyone." Bill smiled. He looked proud and accomplished.

That week went by so fast. I think the fastest week in school I've experienced yet. We would meet up at lunch and try to in classes if we could talk to one another and practice and go over our lyrics and performance. The night before the performance I couldn't sleep. Like at all! My stomach turned and I began to feel even a little sick. I mean don't get me wrong I was exicted! It would be fun!

But...in front of the whole school? And For a grade? What if I walked on stage and tripped on someone's foot? Or I sang the wrong lyric? What if I got laughed at by the whole school? What if?.... I heard a knock at my door. "You can come in." I sat up to see my dad. "Dad?" "Hi Angel, just stopped by to say Goodnight." "What'd mom say?" "She didn't mind." He shrugged. I nodded. "You look troubled everything all right?" "My performance, you know the one I've been practicing with Uncle David for?" "Yeah, the one with your friends." "Yup, well it's tomorrow."

"Let me guess you feel nervous?" "A bit." "That's all right it's okay to feel nervous, but don't let it get in the way of your preformance." "I know, but how. With all those people? What if I mess it up for everyone?" "And what if you don't?" "What if you go out there and play your little heart out and did your best and got a A?" My dad began to get up. He began to walk towards the door. I ran over to him and gave him a hug.

He hugged me back, "You're gonna do your best, and that's all you can do right? And you're gonna have so much fun with your friends on stage!" "I love you." "I love you too Y/N."

"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late. I had to run to catch the bus." I leaned on the tree next to us to catch my breath. "Let me guess you slept late?" Gustav questioned. "Yeah, I mean I couldn't sleep for a bit." "Who did?" Bill asked tiredness in his voice. We all began to yawn. "I cant believe it!" Tom clasped his hands together. "I know, it's really happening!" Today was the day of our preformance! "I see everyone dressed accordingly." Bill examined us all. Bill had decided that we wore black and jeans."Except..." Bill looked at Gustavs pants. They were camouflaged color. I laughed. "Shut up!" Gustav wore a black shirt with a white eagle on it, a black cap, and his camoflogue pants. Bill wore a black leather jacket with bits of white, a black shirt, and jeans. Tom wore his usual baggy style but without a cap which was shocking. His hair was down. I'm pretty sure Bill told me the guy had a closet just for his hats.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were color coded too. Tom wore a baggy black and white shirt with baggy jeans, and white sports wristbands. Lastly Georg wore a black leather jacket like Bill a black shirt, and jeans. I decided on a black shirt, with low rise baggy jeans. I did a little bit of makeup such as under my eyes and my eyelashes. I wore the braclet Lottie had gave me with the 5 butterflys. My hair was out.

"Honestly, I'm nervous." Bill began to grin nervously as he looked at his shoes. "Me too..." I nodded. "Hey but it's better then us doing it by ourselves separately." Gustav chimed in. "Yeah we'll all be together!" Georg smiled. "You guys are good friends. What did I do to deserve you?" I smiled.

"You were yourself." Bill placed his hand on my shoulder and smiled. I smiled back. The bell rung. AHH! Our performance was after homeroom! We all looked at one another. "I'll see you guys. We're gonna do amazing!" I waved to everyone, Everyone said their goodbyes and we went our separate ways.

My hands began to feel clammy and my heart began to beat rapidly. I closed my eyes and held onto my braclet.

"There's something about you...something good. You're a good kid."

Something about me....something good. I began to calm down taking slow breaths. Homeroom went by so slow. I tried distracting myself by counting the tiles on the floor and ceiling but would mess up count and restart. The speakers turned on and a announcement was made,

"Good Morning Students, I hope you're having a amazing Morning. If you don't know me already I'm Mr.Müller a 10th grade English teacher. Today  is the beginning of our 10th grade prefromances of the arts. From dancing, poems, and singing, and much more. I would like to call all of the students from all of my periods into the auditorium at this moment."
