Chapter 5

Butters is noticeably down for the rest of the day. Kenny taps his shoulder during class.

"Hm?" Butters hums.

"Hey dude, you look kind of down. Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Honestly, I should be asking you that."

"Don't worry, I'm fine. No hard feelings here." Kenny smiles reassuringly at him. Butters smiles back, but quickly goes back to sitting in his seat bluely, lost in thought.

The rest of the day goes quite slowly for everyone. Thankfully, it is Friday.

Cartman sits in his room, once again, plotting things. He had been thinking of ideas all throughout school.

"Kenny seriously needs to step up his game. I thought he was better at picking up people. Maybe he's just like that with girls.."

"I know, it seems like he has no experience with guys."

"I need to do some more research."

He spends a couple hours exploring the internet for ways to make a guy fall in love with you. He even goes to the library and reads some books about love.

He eventually goes back to his house, and gets comfortable again.

"Cupid Me, I've done quite a bit of investigating.. and I think I'm gonna need some help with this."

'~*Time Skip*~' (It's now Saturday)

Kenny has been glancing back and forth at his phone for the past few minutes. He's been considering to ask Butters to go watch a movie at the theater with him. 

"Ugh.. I know he doesn't like me back.. but I'd still like to at least spend some time with him."

He finally picks up his phone, after hesitating for so long.

He goes to text Butters, but accidentally calls him instead.

"Hello?"

"AH- um, oh- hey Butters!" he says nervously.

"What do ya need?"

"Oh um, I just wanted to know if you'd like to see a movie together today?"

"Like a date? You know-"

"No! I mean, just hanging out as friends!" he says, cutting him off.

"Umm, yeah sure I don't see why not!"

"Great, I'll see you around 5?"

"Sounds good! See ya Kenny!"

"See you later!" he replies, hanging up.

Kenny wipes some sweat off his forehead. "Phew.. that is not how I expected that to go."

He flops onto his bed. "I wonder if he'll ever like me back.."

A few hours pass, and Kenny and Butters meet up at theater.

"So, what movie did ya wanna see?" Butters says, smiling wholesomely.

"Uhh, I didn't really think this far ahead.. any ideas?"

"Hmm.." Butters looks around, and eyes the selection of movies on the theater wall.

"Maybe that one?" Butters points to a very sexual movie.

"Uhm.. maybe not.." Kenny says, blushing. He couldn't bare the idea of watching something like that with Butters.

"Why not? Are you too scared?" he says jokingly, smugly looking at Kenny.

"No! Umm, how about that movie instead?" He points at a horror movie.

"Sure!"

A wave of relief washes over Kenny after hearing his answer. He gets two movie tickets. They make their way to the room that the movie was playing in after getting some popcorn and snacks.

A while into the movie, a very gory scene comes on.

"Ew why is the blood all sticky like that?" Butters says.

Kenny can't help but almost laugh at the comment.

The finally finish the movie after a while.

"Are you feeling okay?"

"Uh yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"Just making sure, that movie was pretty scary."

"Pfft- Who do you think I am? I'm not some small bean."

Kenny laughs. "Yeah I guess that's true."

They begin to make their way out of the theater finally.

"Well I had a good time! Bye-bye Kenny!"

Butters gives him a kiss on the cheek and skips away. Kenny stands there taken aback, raising his eyebrow and blinking a few times in confusion.

"What the fuck.."

Kenny decides to text Craig on the way home.

[ Kenny: Craig, I need some help with something.

[ Craig: Getting bitches? ]

[ Kenny: Well, actually, yeah. ]

[ Craig: Oh, damn. Who is she? ]

[ Kenny: Well, it's not exactly a she. ]

[ Craig: Fruity ass. Who is HE? ]

[ Kenny: You're the one to talk. Anyways, it's Butters. ]

[ Craig: I knew it. ]

[ Kenny: How?- that doesn't matter. An incident happened recently and he doesn't like me  back.. ]

[ Craig: Well, to put it simply.. you just need more rizz 🤷‍♂️]

[ Kenny: Seriously? 😒]

[ Craig: Yeah ]

[ Kenny: Ugh, okay. How do I rizz him up better. ]

[ Craig: Well, because he doesn't like you back.. I'd say you should just do something subtle, something that doesn't have to seem like you actually have feelings for him, but something that can make him gain feelings for you. ]

[ Kenny: Like what? ]

[ Craig: I don't know, just wrap your arm around him or something. Friends do that. ]

[ Kenny: That's so basic though. ]

[ Craig: It doesn't matter if it's basic, what matters is that Butters falls in love. ]

[ Kenny: That's true, thanks for the advice. ]

Kenny puts away his phone, and arrives at his house. He walks inside his room.

He flops onto his bed once again. "This is gonna be hard.."

(Hard just like me when EndoNike talks to me 😜)
