Reader's POV
"I don't know.. not now, maybe when the time is right.. okay?"
The sentence echoed through your mind. When the time is right? What does he mean? Why do you always wonder about stuff? Or rather, why d o people always give you really dense hints or odd clues about something you don't know?
Maybe you're that dense? Or you really just don't know and you let it all slide.
Bluh, who knows.
You grumbled and leaned back, accidentally hitting your head on the wall. Grunting as the back of your hesd bounced off like a basketball hitting the ground of the court.
"Shit," You mumbled under your breath as your hand rubs the back if your head.
Sollux snickered and you pouted.
"I was spacing out, okay?" You say and go back to reading stuff on wattpad that you found interesting.
"That's what they all say," You hear Sollux mumble to himself as he continues programming a virus or some shit.
Your eyebrows raised and you gave him a glare while he wasn't looking. Then you shrug it off and continue reading your favorite book on wattpad.
"Hey (F/n)," Sollux said, looking over at you.
"Hm?"
"Can we do something?"
"What do you want to do?"
"Uhmm.."
Sollux typed away on his laptop and you waited for him to say something. (im giving up on you AUHUehue)
"You know what, can we just play some video games?" He asked, the adorable lisp evident in his voice.
"Yeah sure, why not?" You smiled and hopped over to your wii, which was nicely placed under your TV in your bedroom.
You scrolled to the games and chose Mario Kart Wii, because damn you are pro at this. You've unlocked everything in two days! So you slip in the disc, and hand sollux a wii remote.
"Get ready for some ass whoopin'!" You exclaimed.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah," you stuck your tongue out at him childishly as he picks a course.
As the race was about to start, Sollux hugged you, well in a hug-like position. He trapped you in his arms as you both played, you trying to focus of course.
The first race has ended and you were in first place, obviously. Sollux groaned into your shoulder, you playfully smirked.
"You will never beat my smoothness, Honey bee," You winked at him.
"Psh, this is just round one," He smirked and still trapped you in his arms.
You clearly seeing how he mashes the buttons, holding 2 as he drives and 1 when he drifts. He was pretty focused, almost focused as you were.
The second lap ended and you got second this time, ironic eh? Sollux giggled and whispered to you, "Who's smooth now, (F/n)?"
You pushed his face back a little with your hand as he laughed into it.
"Ahaha! You just can't accept that I'm starting to be smoother than you," He said making the fart noises with his mouth in sign of teasing.
"Oh please, it's only one round."
You both continued playing until the end of the race. You won, no. Actually it was a tie. You lost in the last round since you couldn't focus. Your phone was booming and buzzing with notifications and it irritated you, not to mention the position you are in with your moirail.
"Tie," You both groan, silence filled the air for a few seconds then you both laughed.
"Seems that I'm just as smooth as you are, (F/n)."
"OH PFTTT, as if you'd ever be as smooth as me."
"Hell yeah I cou-"
bzzt bzzt, bzzt bzzt
"Can you give me my damn phone, Sol?"
He handed you your phone and it was notes from Pesterchum, seems to be your boyfriend meddling you, at least that's what you think.
ghostyTrickster [GT] started pestering (chumHandle) [CH] at 8:21pm
GT: hey (F/n)?
GT: (F/n)??
GT: (FFFFFFFFFFFFFF/nnnnnnnn)???
GT: answer mee DD:
GT: heyy
CH: ?
CH: calm thy man tits, John! I was just playin some mario kart with sol :33
GT: oh cool i guess..
GT: anyway! i was wondering if me and dave could come over too? like another sleepover but without karkat i guess hehe
CH: hold on imma ask solll
You look up from your phone and ask, "Sol, is it aight if John and Dave come over too?"
"Yeah, it's your house (F/n)," A small smile tugged at his lips.
"We're still going to play tho, right?" He asked before you could confirm with your boyfriend.
"Yeah," You smiled sweetly and got back to John.
CH: yeah you guys can come :DD
GT: okay then i guess we'll go now
CH: alrighty c ya here
(chumHandle) [CH] ceased pestering ghostyTrickster [GT] at 8:23pm
"Alright, they're coming," You announced and went back to gaming.
You noticed that Sollux hasn't 'untrapped' you from his arms and he was actually making fart noises into your hair while you were typing.
"What the fuck, Sol," You laughed and leaned on his chest as you started to pick another course.
He replied to you with a fart noise and continued to play the next round.
//Time skip//
Ding Dong
The doorbell rang, you were still in the third race! And inconveniently in the middle of it.
"IT'S OPEN!" You yell from your room since you were too focused to go down and open it yourself.
You heard muffled words and shuffling of feet as the sound got closer and closer, the door swung open. At least that's what you heard, and you assume John and Dave were standing there, probably waiting for a 'hey' or something.
"SorryI'mbusyjustsitdownwhereverthehellyouwant," You say quickly making it into second in the first lap of the race.
They sat down and watched you and Sollux play, John being curious and all and Dave being.. Dave.
After two more laps, you beat Sollux- Yet again -and did your weird victory dance.
"WOOP WOOP!" You cheered and Sollux just laughed at your dance, facepalming in a joking manner.
John and Dave looked at you and laughed as well.
"So," You say after dancing like a complete idiot.
"What's up?"
