Reader's POV

You stepped out of the bathroom, fresh as the squids in Splatoon. Yes, you must stay fresh.

You then got changed into a beige sweater, black leggings, and beige sneakers. You also decided to curl your hair for today, you don't know why but you just felt like it.

After you did, you headed downstairs for breakfast. You wonder what's cookin'.

As you entered the kitchen, you saw John, Dave, Karkat and Sollux sitting at the table, all laughing their asses off. John saw you and gestured you over to sit on the vacant chair beside him, all still laughing like crazy and Dave smacking his hand on the table into the laughing fit.

"What's hilarious?" You asked while smiling and the boys' laughter died down and Sollux said, "It's a guy joke."

You frowned, "Hey, I can understand your penis jokes too y'know." When the word 'penis' rolled off your tongue, they all started snickering.

"Pffffft." Dave said, holding in laughter by biting his lip.

"Lemme guess, is it about how tiny Kankri's tentabulge is? Or how long Jake's dick is?" You asked, earning more snickers from the boys.

"Best we not tell you." Karkat said and candy red brushed his whole face.

"Why noooot?" You frowned and gave them a puppy face.

"Just eat your breakfast, baby." John said and gave you a plate of waffles, prepared just how you like it.

You smiled at this and dug in. It's really sweet of them to do this.

//time skip//

"(F/n)! I'm going out with Dave and Sollux, You coming?" John asked from the entrance.

"Nope! I'm gonna hang with Karbro today." You replied and John nodded, "Alright, don't do anything I wouldn't want you to do!" He added and left.

"Heh." Was all you could reply.

"Huh?" Karkat said.

"Heh." You said again and he nodded.

"Heh." Karkat said.

"This shall be the festival of heh's. Heh." You declared and Karkat's lips formed a small smile, "Heh." Karkat said with a smile that could make your heart jump.

"Hehe." You said, smiling from ear to ear.

"Hehehe?" Karkat said and put a finger to his chin.

"Hehehehe!" You replied.

Both of you started laughing because of the heh's. "Wanna go grab some munchies?" You asked and Karkat replied with, "Why the fuck not." An expression of glee evident on his face.

"Woosh! Let us venture forth!" You said, pointing your finger to the entrance, but as you do it you accidentally poke Karkat's eye.

"Blargh!" He said.

"Oh fuck, sorry! Hold on. Stay here." You replied and pat his head before going up to your room to get some eye drop.

It might be very sensitive, okay? And you're that nice of a person.

As soon as you found the eye drop, you rushed down the flight of stairs, missing the third step which causes to you to slide your way down the stairs with your butt.

"AaAaAa!" You yelled, your tone going up and down as you go down each step.

"Ah." You said as you reached the floor, You then stood up quickly and ran over to Karkat, who was oddly staring at you with his hand covering his eye.

"Are you-" He asked but you cut him off saying, "Yeah I'm alright, that's normal."

He shook his head and laughed a bit. You smiled and said, "Alright," You removed his hand from his eye and saw the redness spreading throughout his sclera, "Look up." You said.

"Okay..?" He looked up and you carefully added the liquid, he squinted as soon as the drop fell on his eye.

"Gah!" He said and was about to rub his eye until you grabbed his wrist and said, "No, don't rub it."

You looked at him with a concerned yet serious expression and he nodded slowly.

Your expression then changed in a blink of an eye as you said, "Alright, ready to go?" You smiled.

Karkat's face looked taken aback, but it changed back to a normal expression as he said, "You're going out in pajamas?" Eyeing you up and down.

"O-oh, whoops! Be back in 10." You cheerfully said and ran up to change.
