John's POV
"Hey, what's taking (F/n) so long?" I ask, interrupting our small talk.
"I don't fucking know, why don't you check on her?" Dave replies as I stood up and said, "Alright then."
As I opened the door, I saw Sollux carrying (F/n) as she was crying her heart out. Grr, that little bastard! Why the fuck didn't I check earlier?
I ran down the stairs, a concerned expression on my face as I hide my jealousy.
"What happened?" I ask and Sollux notices my presence.
"Check the phone," He simply replied and I did, I read the text and my eyes widened.
"Oh my God, (F/n).." I say in shock.
"Sollux, I'll take care of this, You head upstairs," I told him, he was about to refuse but he let me carry (F/n) as he made his way up the flight of stairs.
"Shh.. It's okay," I tried shushing her ro calm her down and her sobs got a little more quiet.
"N-no it's not," She whispers and I sit down on the couch, Her legs straddling me as her arms are wrapped around my neck.
My shiny concerned blue orbs stared into her watery depressed (e/c) orbs, I couldn't bare to see it. I kissed the tears running down her cheeks, and a small smile curved the ends of her lips.
"Thank you, baby," She said softly and hugged me, but her tears didn't stop dripping.
Yes! Beat that Sollux! I mentally cheered.
"Seriously?" (F/n) suddenly said.
"What?" I said, damn did I say that aloud? Oh no.
"You're thinking about how you 'beat' Sollux at a time like this? Oh my God!" She snapped, removing her arms from my neck and crossing them over her chest.
"But-" I tried to reason but she cut me off.
"No! I don't want to hear any more of your jealous bullshit!" She yelled and got off my lap to stand up.
I stayed quiet, I didn't know what to say.. Fuck this. Why'd I have to say that? Ugh! John you're so stupid.
"Listen, Egdipshit. Sollux.. Sollux is my moirail. Yes, I love him, but as a brother and a moirail. But that's how far I can love him because I fucking love you more than anything in this damn world," She said in between sniffles and sobs.
She paused for a moment to wipe the continuous waterfall of tears pouring down her cheeks.
"I know, You have a huge right to be possessive about me, and I do too, cause I love you. But now, I don't know if I should love you.. since you can't trust me with other guys," She said and walked out.
A slam of a door finished for her and my eyes started to sting. Fuck! Fuck! FUCK. GOD DAMN IT EGBERT.
WHY, WHY'D YOU HAVE TO FUCKING SAY THAT. WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE JUST TRUSTED HER. JESUS FUCKING..
God..
Tears streamed down my cheeks as I these thoughts pound my head, I ran a hand through my hair and stopped midway to grip my jet black locks.
My glasses started to moist, but I didn't care. I just cried, let out my liquid pride. But I removed them anyway and rubbed my eyes.
