Reader's POV
// Dismissal Time //
You walk out of school, phone in hand and headphones on. You didn't seem to have any homework today, so you decided to hang out with John, Dave, Karkat and Sollux.
(Bc why not :B)
They said that they'd meet you at your place. Considering that you were lazy as fuck to walk today.
As you got home, you changed into comfortable clothes which consisted of a (f/c) collared shirt, white shorts, leggings and (f/c) converse.
You plopped onto your couch and silently waited as music blasted through your ears from your headphones.
You checked the time,
4:13pm, it read.
Any minute now, you thought.
3.. 2.. 1..
Hm, seems like they're not here y-
Ding dong
Never mind, seems like they have arrived already. Since you were that lazy, you just scream from the living room,
"IT'S OPEN," you screamed and went back to scrolling on your phone.
You hear the door creak open as Egbert, Strider, Karkat and Sollux enter.
You look up from your phone to first see a happy, goofy-smiling John Egbert standing across from you.
"Hi," you manage to say.
"Hey, (f/n). Mind if I sit beside you?" he asked.
"Why not?" You reply and sit up from your position to give him space to sit.
He happily sits beside you. You wonder why he's so happy, oh well. You shrug off the thought.
Being with the egderp makes you feel like nothing really matters anymore.
"Uhm.. Hey (f/n) can I ask you something?" Egderp said with a nervous look on his face.
"Yeah, sure what is it?" you say.
"Well, I don't know if it's too soon but-" John said before he was cut off by Sollux, Karkat and Dave entering the room.
"Yo," Dave said.
John muttered something under his breath but it didn't really bother you either way, it just seems weird.
Soon enough, You, Dave, Karkat and Sollux were relaxing on the couch, John was about to put in the movie Con Air. All of you except John groaned.
John didn't care, he wanted to watch since he loved the damn movie and found it.. inspiring? You don't know but you'll try to bear it anyway.
John plopped on the area beside you, and you told Karkat and Sollux to sit on the bean bags.
The movie started, and John did that cheesy thing where he 'stretches' amd puts his arm around you.
You felt a light blush creep up to your face as John pulled you in closer, as he did you leaned on his chest.
John was the only one enjoying the movie but you enjoyed it a bit yourself because of him.
It made you happy and fluffy inside, now you wonder what he was about to tell you a while ago.
Dave, Karkat and Sollux were busy with their own things and probably even asleep, You couldn't tell considering that Dave is wearing shades and Karkat and Sollux are facing the TV.
You decided to ask John if he wanted to leave Dave, Karkat and Sollux be. He was alright with it even if he still wanted to watch, he must like you that much.
You both went to your room and plopped on your bed.
"Uh-" You both say at the same time but pause.
"Well I wanted to-" You say at the same time again and pause knowing that saying what you want to say in synch would be very confusing.
"Uhm, you go first," You say.
"Okay," John says and gulps.
You wait for a while and he continues,
"(F/n), You ready know I like you, and I know you like me back.. is that even true or just one of your tricks?" John asks before he continues.
"I-It's true, very true," You stutter but manage to spit the words out of your mouth.
"Okay.. (F-f/n)," he says and pulls you into a hug before continuing.
You were taken aback as he continued and said, "W-Will you be m-mine?" he asks.
You pull away, shocked and happy at the same time.
"As in, your girlfriend?" You clarify, just to be sure.
"Y-yeah," he says and he blushed a dark red.
You smiled, pulled him by the arm and pushed yourselves into a sweet, living and compassionate kiss.
It lasted for a good 8 seconds as you pulled away and said, "Of course I will,"
John flashed his goofy smile at you as you both giggle.
"So, I guess I'm all yours," You say as you both lean on the wall.
"Yeah, and you're all mine," John said and kissed you on the cheek as he interlocked his fingers with yours.
Karkat's POV
I pulled my head away from the door of (F/n's) room, and leaned on it quietly.
I put my hand on my face in frustration and sadness, damn.
Fucking Egbert, just when I actually found my own 'love' instead of helping others with theirs.
God fucking damn it.
