XIII: Risk

It's 8am and Tiffany's peculiar children are off to school, preparing and making sure they don't forget anything. While the girls watched them in envy, some wanted to come but they knew they couldn't. Who wouldn't be curious what it's like to go to school, right?

Taeyeon’s peculiar children never had a chance to go to school and explore other things because they were isolated by their mother from others.

“Are you guys heading off now?” Jihyo asked

“Yeah and we will be back by the weekend” Joy nodded zipping her backpack

“I see, good luck then. Have a safe trip” Jihyo smiled

“Mmmh.. why don't we bring them, girls?” and then Wendy suggested, all eyes went on her

“Are you nuts?” Seulgi deadpanned stared at her

“The outside is too dangerous for them, they are being hunted down right now.. remember?” Irene reminded

“Irene's right. They're the chosen one's, they should be safe before the Dark lord and his army attacks us” Seulgi said

“But our island is the only peaceful one, nobody could ever think harming them” Wendy reasoned out to Irene

It went silent for some seconds, both parties just looking at one another as if they are considering it

“It's okay guys, we're fine to stay here” Y/n spoke

“No, I think it's a good idea to bring you guys along” Joy nodded in agreement

“We can just put on some charm disguise and it will surely work! Like one of Joy’s candies!” Yeri said

Should they leave without Taeyeon's approval?

Meanwhile …

By the old cabin in the woods, they are getting impatient waiting for Sana and Mina to come back, it's been more than three hours now..

“Where's the two? They're taking too long to get help” Baekhyun said

“Don't be impatient” Tzuyu rolled her eyes, ever since the knowledge of Mina’s story that Baekhyun betrayed the girls before the rewind, Tzuyu grew distant and cold to him

“Yah what's with that attitude?” Dahyun whispers

“What? He should've seen this coming after what he did” Tzuyu whispered back with her eyes coldly looking at Baekhyun who is deeply worried for Sana and Mina

Next day …

In a dark cave, the four torches are the only source of light. A group of men were surrounding Sana and Mina who were both tied with each other from behind and asleep. Been sleeping for a day now ever since they were knocked out

“They don't look dangerous, hyung” one of them spoke

“Even so, we shouldn't let our guards down” the leader said

Hearing those faint voices, Mina was slowly regaining her consciousness. Her eyes opening and was in horror to see men surrounding them all wearing black masks

“One of them is awake!” The guy announced, the leader comes to her

“You. What is your business in this forest?” He asked in a threatening tone

Mina who is not even fully awake looked up to him

“W-what?” She hasn't even fully absorbed what is happening right now

“This forest is forbidden, we have set a lot of traps and you two girls were lucky enough to avoid it. But that doesn't mean you two will still get away”
