Chapter #16: I'll protect both of you

Izuku Pov

4 days have passed, and we just got back from I-Island.

The world already knows about the incident that occurred on the Island and about Uncle David kidnapping and his assistants, Sam's, murder. Several investors began to cut their ties with the Island while other stayed. Luckly the Commissioner promised that she will help restore the Island to its former glory by adding S.P.D. technology and security, this made the Island inhabitant feel calm and relax.

On the other hand, I'm still worried about Melissa, the first two days where hard on her. She lost the only family she had and almost fell into depression, but luckily Azumi, Mei and I were there for her.

Speaking of Mei, I came up with a proposal that she couldn't resist. I proposed that if she let's me take R2 with me back to S.P.D, I would talk with Aunty Carla about her capabilities and inventions to secure her a spot at S.P.D lab when she's done with her studies at I-Island. An without hesitation she accepted the proposal. But after accepting she ask why did I wanted to even take R2 with me. I just told her that the few days I've spent on the Island, I created a special and friendly bond with him, like if he was best friend.

That answered made Mei happy and just told me to take good care of him.

Enough about that, I'm drifting off of the main topic, which's is Melissa.

As I said before thanks to our help, she manage to ease the pain a bit. All Might offered her to stay with him an Green Tornado but she declined telling him that she was going to stay here with Mei and finish her studies first, honoring the promise she made her Dad, and when she finish, she would come to Japan.

An about her new Ranger power's, she told me that she will began training with them and when the time comes, she would join us on the fight against Lord Zedd.

But before we even left, I promise her that if we ever fine a clue about Uncle's whereabouts, she would be the first to know. And I intend to keep that promise.

Now today is Monday so that means our U.A break is finally over and classes start soon. But lucky for me I don't have to attend because Aunty Carla wants me to meet her in her office and give my report about everything that happened on the Island.

An that's what I'm doing right now.

We see Izuku giving his report to The Hero Commissioner, who was at her desk listening to Izuku's report, in her office. In his report Izuku explain, with detail, everything that they did and occurred on the Island. He even told her about Kaminari, Kirishima and Melissa becoming Ranger's, that shocked the Commissioner a bit, but she knew who to hided well.

Izuku: "That would be all Commissioner" -finalizing his report-

C.P: "I see" -analyzing the report she was giving- "An what about Shields daughter"

Izuku: "She decided to stay at a friends house until finishing her studies"

C.P: "Ok I'll send some of my trusty agents to guard their house 24/7" "I have a feeling that Rita could still go after her"

Izuku: "I gladly appreciate that Commissioner" "That would take some of my stress away"

C.P: "Now tell me how do you feel?"

Izuku: "I feel fi-"

C.P: "That's not what I mean, how are you feeling with Professor Shields captured?"

Izuku didn't say anything.

C.P: "You blame yourself don't you?"

Izuku still didn't say anything.
