A chorus of cries, yells, crashing, screaming, and what sounded like a squirrels chitter could all be heard in one single mass. Bodies flew in different directions, Wolfwood diving off the couch and Vash messily covering his body with his. The cushions flew from the sofa in a weirdly slow-motion action, the ghost now sprawled across the white surface.
Things quickly turned into chaos. Meryl was now trying to body slam the ghost, Milly quickly grabbing her and holding back the squirming and kicking human. The ghost was so stunned that even it stared at her, before scrambling up from the couch and looking back and forth between Vash on top of Wolfwood, and Meryl trapped in Milly's arms.
Vash duly noted that with how pale the entity was, it briefly reminded him of his brother.
A lot of things remind him of his brother apparently.
Especially with how it now was sprinting at him. It even had his run.
Oh. Oh god, it was sprinting at him.
Vash squealed and moved backwards like a crab before grabbing Wolfwood's ankles and dragging the ebony-haired fool across the hardwood floor, not even bothering to ask if Wolfwood was okay from the smacking and banging happening in the dark. Wolfwood was fighting for his life, hands squeaking across the ground as he desperately tried to crawl his way to standing.
"Vash! Let. Go!" The seething grunt barely passed his lips. The pressure on his ankle was now gone, and Wolfwood let out a momentary sigh of relief before his eyes snapped up at the looming entity above him. "SHIT NEEDLE-NOGGIN I DIDN'T MEAN IT-"
His ankles were now being seized by the ghost, and letting out the most girlish screech he could muster, the emo boy grappled his way upright and kicked off the I , hastily hurdling upright and running away.
"You almost got got!" Vash pointed out with a snide snicker. This was a very brief moment of victory before Wolfwood and the ghost were flying in his direction. Vash let out a squawk. He quickly looks between Wolfwood and the girls before determining that the other man was a lost cause.
Grabbing Milly's arm, which still clung desperately to Meryl's writhing frame, he began running in as opposite of a direction from the ghost that they could possibly get. I mean really, Vash had an emergency ghostbusters proton pack in the corner, but with the lack of light, it was as good as useless.
Vash, being so distracted with his thoughts, was caught entirely unaware when he began falling, tripping over a body that he swore was not there 10 seconds ago.
"Oh come on! I just got my squirrel to sleep, man!" Vash was hit with a sudden wave of déjà vu, hasn't this happened before?
Surprisingly, Milly was the next one to pipe up, "So sorry Mr. other Ghost, but this is really quite urgent."
