*3rd person pov*

A buff man chuckled to the girl with fiery red hair and eyes as she stood up once more, not backing down. "You just don't know how to quit, do you?"

She wiped blood away from her mouth and she breathed heavily. She put her fists back up, the same glare buring into him.

He smiled and swung his fist at her cheek. She ducked and swung at his abdomen, which hit its target.

The man 'oofed' and stumbled back a bit, angrier then before. "I've had enough of you, girl." His fist collided with her eye.

"Hazuki!" A woman looking to be in her mid 20s yelled as she entered a building. The woman rushed over to her and grabbed her face to examine the bruises and cuts. She threw her arms down and stated at her intensely. "What happened?"

Hazuki signed. "I just got in a fight, that's all." She brushed past her and went into the kitchen and got an ice pack and put it on her burning face, wincing.

"That's all? That's all! Your brushing this off as if it was nothing!" Hazuki turned to the angered woman with no emotion.

"That's because it was nothing. It was just a little fight." "A little-a little fight! Look at you! Your basically broken!"

"A little cuts and scratches here and there, but not broken."

The woman huffed. "You know what! I'm sick of this! I'm tired of you always coming home with new injuries! What if you get stuck in a fight you couldn't handle? Mm? What if you died right then and there? I wouldn't know what happened to you." Her voice cracking at the end. "I'm just scared, Hazuki. I'm scared and worried. This isn't healthy."

"It's not like I choose to fight, it just happens." "I don't understand how that 'just happens'. Everyday, every single day, you come home beat up. I'm worried sick about you."

Hazuki, with no emotion, placed her hand on the woman's cheek. "I know you are, but I'm fine. Honestly." The woman smiled and held the younger girls hand. "You have a brave soul, Hazuki, but a wild mind. Who knows what your thinking about behind those eyes of yours." Hazuki's hand dropped and she left the kitchen and made her way upstairs.

She closed her door and plopped her sore muscles onto her bed, resting the ice pack on her shoulder to keep contact with her face.

She grabbed on of her mangas and started to flip through it.

'Sword Art Online'. By the little light that's shining in her eyes shows that it's her favorite. She had always loved the idea of being a swordswoman.

Just the feel of power like that intrigues the girl.

Before she knew it, her eyes were slowly closing, her body becoming numb as she welcomed the darkness.
