It seemed to happen so fast,

Mizuki's mood shifting from good to bad

They knew they could not face it alone,

but bothering Ena seemed out of the question

At least for now

Dawn was dancing upon the bright sky

though not in Mizuki's heart

Of course, they weren't the only ones suffering

Ena was hurting, too

From who really knew

Pain could be a personal thing,

so Mizuki brushed their feelings aside again

It was time to face forward

Their eyes landed on that remarkable scrapbook

that held so much memories

it was hard to remember them all

A few texts from Ena lit up the screen,

Mizuki was relieved -- she was still doing okay

She was still hanging in there

Ena -- one of their closest friends

As they opened her texts, they had discovered Ena

crying her heart out

Not out loud -- but through her words

It felt like Mizuki could hear Ena's crying

See her tears

Sense her sadness

But when Mizuki read the last text

Their mind went blank

Ena hadn't forgotten

about what they had said

Trouble was spilling over now

why and how -- irrelevant

The fact that things were beginning to take

a dark turn

was way more important

Mizuki didn't want to admit how they were feeling

Not every single detail

Their personal hell

did not have to be theirs alone

Perhaps -- if Mizuki and Ena shared their hellish pain,

then their endless support for each other would be

a personal heaven

Even if they assumed that their happiness wouldn't come
