THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT | SATZU

PRESENT [SCENE 9 & 10]

SCENE NUMBER 9: [WHO'S THE GIRL?]

Everyone clapped as Sana finished presenting her proposal design in front of her colleagues and boss. It was a success like how her boss Tzuyu told her earlier. "Good job, Ms. Minatozaki!" her boss congratulated her. She then smiled widely and mouthed "Thank you, sir!". After the meeting, all of the members went out the conference room only the CEO along with the secretary and collaborators was left in there and also Sana. "You should come and join us in our lunch today Mr. Manoban." Tzuyu offered to his collaborator's secretary. The latter didn't hesitate to accept the offer since it's almost 1 in the afternoon, and they haven't eaten anything yet. "Let's go then? My treat." Tzuyu responded while fixing his things.

"Ms. Im please assist them in our corporate cafeteria. And you Ms. Minatozaki, please stay for a moment. I'll be needing your help in here." Tzuyu commanded and they just heed to what their boss said. "Yes, Mr. Chou."

The two individuals was left there. Sana was too confused why her boss needed her help in there. "Anything I can help, sir?" Sana asked. Tzuyu placed his things inside his bag, after that he faced the blond girl and smiled. "Since you did great, I want you to be the one who's going to entertain the guests along with my secretary." Tzuyu said that made the latter shocked.

"But why me, sir? I don't think I have the position to be one of the entertainers of the guests." Sana complained to her boss. "I am completely seeing your potential here even though you're just our company's new employee Ms. Minatozaki." Sana then sighed and just agreed on what her boss said. As if she can do anything about it, and besides it can increase her income for sure.

"Good! Let's go and have our lunch now." Tzuyu stated.

The office hours has already ended and the employees are too excited to go home. "Are you sure you're okay going home alone?" Tzuyu asked his secretary in view of the fact that his secretary is on a rush going home for some reason. "Yes sir. I'm okay. And besides, I brought my car today with me, so you don't need to worry about me." Nayeon said but Tzuyu still insist to take her home. "I'll ask my driver to drop you off your home." Tzuyu is too worried about her secretary going home alone as it is also the first time she'll be going home by herself. "I'm okay sir. You don't need to." Nayeon said with a smile on her face. Tzuyu left no choice but to agree with his secretary. "Okay then, keep safe!" 

Nayeon left him in the office alone. 

Tzuyu stayed inside for some couple of minutes as he is still trying to finish reading and signing the papers. "It's quarter past eight and I haven't eaten anything yet." Tzuyu released a sigh and continued signing up his paperwork. 

Some minutes had pass and Tzuyu is done signing the papers. "Finally!" 

Tzuyu fixes his things and hurriedly left his office. After going down from the basement floor, he fished out for his keys. "Some employees are taking their overtime again huh." Tzuyu muttered after seeing few cars from the basement parking lot. 

*chirp* *chirp*

Tzuyu went inside his car after unlocking it. While driving outside the parking lot, Tzuyu suddenly remembered the arrangement thing that his mother told her. 'And who the fuck is the girl he's talking about?' he seemed to be absorbed by the thought of him being arranged with someone whom he didn't even know.

After exiting the parking lot, he saw a blond girl walking on the side, "Is it Ms. Minatozaki?" he asked himself. He then horn his car to see if he's right.

Sana on the other hand seemed to be surprised by the sudden horn of a car. "Hop in!" her boss said, but Sana refused. She's too shy to even accept her boss' offer. "Come on! I'll take you home. It's too dark and dangerous out here, Ms. Minatozaki." the latter refused again and continued to walk her way home, but Tzuyu followed her while driving slowly. "You don't want me to follow you like this until you get home right?" Sana rolled her eyes, but it is too dark for his boss to see it. She was left no other choice but to ride in his boss' car.

"I thought you're going to let me follow you until you get home." Tzuyu said while chuckling. Sana just smiled at him and didn't bother to reply, she's too shy knowing her boss is taking her home. 

A grumbling sound was heard inside the car. "Haha I'm so sorry. It is almost 9pm and I haven't eaten my dinner yet." Tzuyu awkwardly said as Sana looked at him trying not to laugh. She's just too afraid that her boss might be offended. Perhaps, they aren't that close enough to joke around. "How about you? Have you eaten your dinner yet?" He asked the latter but Sana just shook her head. 

"How about let's go grab a dinner first before I take you home?" Tzuyu offered.

"Oh, no sir. You have done so much for me today. I cannot take your offer now." Sana responded while rubbing her right arm because of the  embarrassment she's feeling right now. "No, it's okay. My treat, and you did really well on your first week in my company. So I wanted to congratulate you by treating you a dinner tonight." Tzuyu said that made Sana accept the offer.

SCENE NUMBER 10: [DINNER] 

Both of them is eating right now in a five star restaurant. Sana refused to dine in there knowing that the bill will cost too much for her. "So, Ms. Minatozaki..." Sana looked and waited for his boss to finish his words. "What's your first name again?" Tzuyu asked.

"Sana, sir." Sana responded then wiped her mouth using the table napkin. "Drop the formalities, Sana. Office hours is done." Tzuyu said while smiling at her.

Tzuyu noticed a little smudge on the side of Sana's lips. "Uhh... You have something here." Tzuyu said while pointing on his own face. Sana tried to wiped it again but she doesn't seem to find where it is that's why Tzuyu grab a napkin and wiped it himself instead. Tzuyu stared on Sana's eyes as he wipes the smudge on the side of her lips. 'Wow, her eyes is so beautiful and- and her her nose is so pointy. Her lips looks kissable too. Wait, why is my heart suddenly beating this fast?' Tzuyu felt his heart racing and his surroundings seemed to slow down. 

He got back to his senses when Sana looked down making Tzuyu remove the napkin on her face. "I- I'm s-sorry." Tzuyu apologized. He really is captivated by the latter's beauty. 'What the fuck is he doing? This is getting too awkward.' Sana muttered in her mind. 

"Ah! Waiter! Bill please." Tzuyu called the waiter to remove the awkwardness of the atmosphere. "So, are you stocked?" Tzuyu asked Sana and the latter answered him "Yes."

The two left the restaurant quietly and continue to ride in the car. After that incident, the two seemed to feel the awkwardness in each other's company. "So where am I dropping you?" breaking the silence, Sana answered "You can drop me at the Rose Hills Village, sir." Sana responded as Tzuyu just continued driving.

As soon as they arrived the destination, Sana thanked his boss and went inside her house.

"Phew! That was awkward. Should've just left her there though." Tzuyu said and drove away.
