THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT | SATZU

PRESENT SCENE 23: [SANA]

That Nayeon is a bitch! How dare she flirt at him like that? I could not comprehend this anymore! Is Tzuyu and Nayeon a thing? I shouldn't be asking this but what are they doing earlier? If they are together, then why is it okay for Nayeon to visit Tzuyu's ex fiancé? Argh! Enough of this Sana! Why do you even care? Tzuyu is just your boss and your fake fiancé... right. Fake fiancé. 

*sigh*

But ain't the news about us is slowly fading? 

Tzuyu's attention is on me for the past 3 weeks, maybe that is the reason why I am feeling like this. I am became used to him giving me stuffs and taking care of me, even though I know that he is just doing that because I blackmailed him. My anger towards him is vanishing slowly, two days after the incident between me and Tzuyu, I suddenly remembered some part of the forgotten night. I blushed and the sweat are coming out of my body after remembering that night. I cannot believe that a drunk Sana would do something as mortifying as that, but his muscular figure always get me. I never told him that I can now remember what happened, and I would never tell him. Opening such topic to him would be very embarrassing. Nevertheless, I can now do a lot of things again, thanks to Tzuyu's help. My cards may be on hold but I got Tzuyu to buy me stuffs. I also don't need to commute anymore because he drives me home every night.

*FLASHBACK*

"Get in the car, Sana." Tzuyu said and opened the car door for me. 

What's up with him? A Chou Tzuyu opening a door for me? Wow, just wow! I crossed my arms in front of him and raised my brow. "You don't wanna get in? Fine, I'll leave you here." He was about to close the door but I stopped him. "Wait! Why are you suddenly so kind to me huh? From what I remember you don't open your door for me." I said while still crossing my arms. 

"Oh, so you don't wanna get in?" He ignored the thing that I said and jokingly closed the door that made me roll my eyes on him.

"Fine, fine. I'll get inside." I hop inside his car as he put his hand on the edge so that I won't bump my head. What a gentlemen he is today. 

I slightly smiled for an unknown reason. 

*END OF THE FLASHBACK*

From that day I can't stop smiling secretly whenever he's giving me an exceptional treatment. He's so kind to me but to others he looks so nonchalant. Does he likes me? 

No, why do you think that he likes you? Just because he's acting too kind to you? What kind of delusional behavior is this Sana? 

"Sana?" I got back from my senses when I suddenly heard Mina's voice. 

"Mina? What are you doing here?" I asked. I am currently here in my office and suddenly she's here in front of me wearing an office attire. She's wearing our company's ID too. I she perhaps working here?

"Wait, I should be the one who's asking you that." Mina chuckled while saying that. What does she mean? Is she working here since then?

"I am working here, obviously." I said and stood up to hug her. I cannot believe that I am here working in this company with my best friend. "Yeah, wait- I mean... I didn't know that you're working here. So does that mean that all the rants that you've opened to us about the company and the boss you're working with is here at the Chou's Clothing Industry?" Mina asked as she pushed me a little bit.

Oh, yeah right. I never mentioned where I was working. 

I smiled at Mina and nodded at her. "Girls, you both know each other?" We looked back in unison when we heard Tzuyu's voice. His voice makes my heart race, his voice which holds power and serenity.  "Yes, Tzuyu. Sana and I are long time best friends." Mina said. Why is she calling Tzuyu, Tzuyu? Are they that close?

"Why are you calling him with his first name?" I whispered asking Mina why is she calling Tzuyu with his first name.

Mina laughed that made Tzuyu looked at us. "Tzuyu, Sana is wondering why I am calling you with your first name." She said that made me hit her. 

I saw Tzuyu laugh as well. What's wrong? Is there something wrong with my question? I am just curious though. "Tzuyu is my cousin, Sana. I never knew that the boss you despise is Tzuyu." Mina said while laughing. She seems like she cannot stop herself from laughing. "That's no surprise though she's really mean to me you know." Tzuyu complaint.

"She told us that you often forget her name." You penguin!

"Hey!" I shouted that made both of them laugh. Not so long, the laughter subside and both of them started to talk about stuffs that I don't understand anymore. So I went back to my seat and just watched them talk in front of me. 

"So, Sana. Since you already know her, this won't be hard enough for both of you to work together. Mina is our company's head fashion designer. Most of the new released clothes were designed by the help of her." I didn't know about that. Mina never mentioned me about her work. She just told me that she's a fashion designer but never showed me her works. But it's too impossible that I don't see her in the news when in fact she's working in one of the most well known company. 

Well, maybe because I am just that busy with my perfume brand that I don't have time to see what's going on outside my worl- wait, I-

"I just want you to see the world, Sana. You're too drawn with your dreams that you don't even see the people that loves you the most."

My dad is right.

I now understand why he did that.

"Sana are you alright?" I didn't know that I am spacing out, not until Tzuyu called me.

"Y-yes." I responded.

"Okay. So listen carefully,  I need you to work with Mina to organize the fashion show in our event this coming Saturday. That better went well and keep everything on track. I don't want a sloppy ass right in the event, okay?" Tzuyu demand and we both nod at him.

Jeez this is going to be a very busy days.
