THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT | SATZU

FORGET ME NOT

A lady wearing a black sleeveless top paired with a white pants entered the ICU. It's Im Nayeon, Tzuyu's former secretary. No one's there inside except for Tzuyu who is still unconscious in his bed.

Nayeon walk closer to Tzuyu and smiled bitterly. "I heard that today's your daughter's birthday... I'm sorry Tzuyu if you cannot come and see your daughter..." Nayeon watched every part of Tzuyu. She can see that Tzuyu's muscular body is slowly turning into a thin one. "But you know what's worst than not seeing your daughter today?" Nayeon smirked at Tzuyu and touched his face, caressing it using her thumb.

"When you cannot guard your fiancé. I heard that Dahyun's always there for her. And you know what? Dahyun's like a father of your own child now. I bet you can't carry Minju without her crying hahaha. What if... Just what if they're having a secret affair? While you are here away from them, cannot do anything, and unaware of everything's happening in your surroundings..." Nayeon talked to Tzuyu like he can hear anything. She tilted her head and caress Tzuyu's arm.

"None of this would happen if you just love me, Tzuyu." Nayeon smirked but she got startled when Tzuyu's finger moved. The holter monitor begun to beep fast and Tzuyu started shaking uncontrollably making Nayeon step back.

"T-tzuyu..."

Little did she know that Tzuyu heard all of the things she said and tried his very best to respond. This just make his life at risk. Forcing something that cannot be done as of the moment.

Nayeon rushed outside the ICU to call a doctor.

After some couple of seconds, some nurses and a doctor rushed inside. Nayeon just stood there watching them check the monitor and hold Tzuyu still to inject him with a Midazolam to calm and stop him from shaking.

Minutes later, Tzuyu's heartbeat went back to normal and the nurses went out of the ICU leaving the doctor and Nayeon inside.

"Is he alright?" Nayeon asked Tzuyu's doctor.

The doctor faced her and smiled. "Yes, he's just experiencing covert consciousness. It is when the patient can hear you but couldn't respond to any of it. Maybe the reason why the thing happened to him earlier is because he tried so hard to move. It's a good sign though. Mr. Chou is getting better. Maybe he'll wake up any time soon. We're not sure, it could take days or just hours." The doctor said, but Nayeon don't know what to react. So she just smiled at him and mouthed "Thank you."

The doctor then bowed at her and went outside the ICU.

"Thank God he's alright." Nayeon mumbled, still in shock from what happened earlier.

Sana is so excited to go to see Tzuyu today after hearing the news from Tzuyu's personal nurse.

Tzuyu's nurse didn't bother telling her the news while they're still celebrating Minju's birthday. At first, Sana got mad at her but then it eventually fade because she got a good news anyway.

"Mom, I'll be going to go and stay with Tzuyu in the hospital. Dahyun's already outside to fetch me. I already pump enough milk for Minju. Just call me when you need me. " Sana said to Tzuyu's mother as she took her bag and was about to go outside the house but Tzuyu's mother suddenly spoke.

Dear, don't you think that it's a bit weird when you often go with that man?" Sana's brows furrowed from the question she just received.

For Sana, Dahyun's just a good friend of hers. But almost everyone see him as someone who likes her romantically... Especially in Tzuyu's eyes. "Mom, Dahyun's just a friend. He's just trying to help me out." Sana said and smiled at her mother in law.
