THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT | SATZU

PRESENT SCENE 25 - EXPLICIT: [SANA]

It's already 9:17p.m and I haven't gotten out of the office yet. I'm currently fixing my things and cleaning my table. I'm sure that Tzuyu is already waiting for me outside in his car like he always does.

"I forgot to unplug the extension cord I used earlier." I whispered to myself. Fortunately, I remember it before getting out of the office.

Since I am just wearing a black skirt and a button up blouse with my four inches heels, I carefully bend over to unplug the extension near my table.

But before I could even remove the extension's wire on the floor, I fell as I stumbled upon stepping on the wire.

"Ah! Shit!" I whimper in pain as I hold my foot.

My butt also hurts from falling! Why are you so clumsy Sana?

I tried standing up with one foot but I fell immediately again because I couldn't balance myself well.

After realizing that there's a sofa just on my side, I crawl carefully and when I succeed sitting on the sofa— I tried circling my left foot that made me cry in pain.

"*Sobs* how will I go down now? This hurts so bad!"

Oh yeah right! I'll call Tzuyu.

*Dialing Chou Tzuyu* I called while even though my eyes are a little cloudy because of my tears.

After a couple of rings— he already answered.

"Chou Tzuyu on the phone. Who is this?"

"Tzuyu *sobs*" I cried. I cannot take it anymore.

"Sana? Why are you crying? Where are you?" The concern in his voice just makes me cry more. Why is he like that?

*sobs* *sobs*

"Can you come here in my office?" I said. I couldn't answer his question now my foot really hurts! How can you speak when something is hurting in you? Plus my butt hurts too!

"Why? What happened?" Tzuyu asked again but I didn't answered her and just lean my back to the sofa while still sobbing.

"Argh! Fine, I'll go there. Wait for me and don't hung up the phone." He said.

I close my eyes in pain. I think I just broke my foot.

I lay my phone on the sofa and pressed the loudspeaker.

*Sobs* *sobs*

The next time you'll unplug the extension cord, just don't. Argh!

Tzuyu must be inside the elevator, I can hear the sound of the elevator. Relax Sana, Tzuyu will be here any time soon.

Not long enough, I heard a running step outside my office. Is that him? I hope it is him already.

Oh, it stopped. It's not him. Where is he? Why is he taking so long to arrive?

A seconds later, I heard my door knob clicked that made me look at the door and there is Tzuyu peeking at me. I can see him clearly even though my eyes are still cloudy.

It's him, finally!

He immediately walk towards me and kneel while holding my hand in my thighs.

"What happened?" He asked, "Tzuyu it hurts"

"What hurts? What happened?" Tzuyu asked but the pain makes it hard for me to talk.

"My foot hurts." I tried to wipe my eyes using my other hand.

"Can you walk?" He asked that made me slapped her hand on my thighs.  "Of course not! Why would I even call you if I can walk huh?"

"I'll call some medic." Medic? No way! This is not that serious though. "No! Just help me get down, please." I said.
