PRESENT SCENE 13: [TZUYU]

"Mr. Chou is it true that you're dating one of your collaborator's  daughter?" "Mr. Chou do you have any plans on marrying Ms. Minatozaki any time soon?" "Mr. Chou, does your company will join force with the Minatozaki's?" That is just some of the blabbering I heard as plenty of reporters mobbed our way as I tried to enter the company. My bodyguards are trying their best to protect me from the crowd. "Please excuse us!" one of my bodyguard said to those reporter that is blocking our way in. I stayed silent and did not bother to answer any of the reporter's questions.

This is not new to me since it is like a monthly crisis for me. A little closeness with any girls and they'll create rumors about it. What they didn't know is I haven't moved on yet from my past lover. She's just too good to forget, all of the things she have done for me made me fall for her deeper. It is not like I haven't tried dating any other girls, but they just don't work for me because Elkie never left my mind.

We've finally entered the company leaving the crowd of press outside. 

"Are you okay, sir?" One of my bodyguards asked and I just nodded at him. While walking through the hallway, I saw my secretary and admin assistant waiting for me outside the elevator.  Once they saw me walking in their way, I saw them fixed themselves and started to press the button of the elevator. "Good morning, Mr. Chou!" Nayeon and Chaeyoung greeted in unison. I just bowed my head a little and proceed to wait for the elevator to open. 

I suddenly remembered that I sent my assistant to Ms. Minatozaki's house yesterday. I need to get an update from him. It sounds cliché, but it's all my father's fault. If he didn't promise a thing from Mr. Minatozaki, then none of this would happen.

*FLASHBACK*

"Son, he is the father of the woman I arranged you with."  This can't be happening right now. I thought mom told me that she will confront dad about this?

"Hello Mr. Chou Tzuyu, nice meeting you! I did not expect that you will be dating my daughter even before we make an appointment with the two of you. Right Yi-Cheng?" Wait, what? Sana is Mr. Minatozaki's daughter? But... How... how come I didn't know that she's our collaborator's daughter? What in the world is happening right now? But I am not really dating her daughter though.

"I didn't know that Ms. Minatozaki is your daughter, she's a really hard working employee, sir." I said trying to be cool even after all of the happenings right now.

"She is? That's great! She used to be obsessed  creating her own product. You know... perfumes and all. I am happy that she's doing great in clothing industry. I just want her to learn something from your company that's why I told her to apply in your company and if she didn't. I'll never return her cards and  rights to build her own perfume brand." HIs father is just as cruel as my dad. Maybe that's the reason why they're friends, psh!

"Yes, hahahaha! So son, since you have met your soon to be fiancé's father, then maybe you should talk about this thing with Ms. Minatozaki. Help your father-in-law to make Ms. Minatozaki understand this arrangement." It's still under my responsibilities to do that? Really dad? Really? 

"My daughter has not been in any romantic relationship yet, Tzuyu. She's too busy with her goals and that scared me. That scared me because  she's getting old and she has not experience being with a relationship yet. Isn't that odd huh? And whenever I tell her that I am going to arrange her with someone, she keeps on avoiding and rejecting it. I am having a really hard time forcing her to agree with me without any consequences. That's why I came up with a plan today, Mr. Chou. Use this issue and just plan whatever you want to make her agree with you. Can you do that?"  I sighed and smiled while pressing my lips. As if I have any other choice though.

"Yes sir, you can count on me."

*END OF THE FLASHBACK*

"It is a surprise that Ms. Minatozaki signed the paper that fast. I thought it would take days or weeks for her to agree with this." I said while looking at the paper signed by my editor. Her father told me to be patient about this. I don't know why but everything is going smoothly for me.

"She's furious about it though. You didn't see how scary she is yesterday." Chaeyoung said, I just laughed at him and teased him with "No, you're just a coward little man." Chaeyoung is my friend since we were college. We graduated at the same school. He doesn't want to be away with me that's why he worked hard to be in his position right now.

"Ms. Im do I have any schedule later after lunch?" I asked my secretary but she appear not to know that I was talking to her. "Ms. Im?" I called again that made her startled.

"Y-yes sir? W-what is it again? I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention." She replied while stuttering. Really? What's with her? She seemed unattended since we got here in my office. "I am asking you if I have any schedule left after lunch." I repeated and she hurriedly check her planner. "You don't have any schedule for the afternoon, sir." She said. That's perfect! I have plans for Ms. Minatozaki for today.

"Please request a leave slip for Ms. MInatozaki. I'll be having an appointment with her later, and please tell her that we're having lunch together for today." I told my secretary. My employees will surely be confused if they didn't saw us going out together. I need to put an effort for this, and besides I already promised something to Mr. Minatozaki. I cannot break that, not in my father's will and power.

"Do I have to join you for lunch sir?" I frowned at Nayeon who suddenly asked me that.

"Ms. Im give your boss a break, give Tzuyu a break. She's going out with one of the new sexy and beautiful employee here though." Chaeyoung sarcastically said the made smack him in the arm. What kind of fuckery is that?

"No, I won't be needing you accompany for today, Ms. Im." I said. I saw her pressed her lips and said "Okay, sir. I'll be delivering the message to Ms. Minatozaki then." She said before going out of my office.

"Your secretary looks bitter, maybe she has a crush on you." Chaeyoung whispered that made me smack him again in the back. "Stop your nonsense jokes little boy!" I said but he just laughed at me. "Why? It's true though I can feel and see it." I rolled my eyes and just browse my laptop on my desk.
