Anthony started without hesitating or waiting for a while- “Scared Brawly, eh? Even I would be scared if only swinging my hand would get my wrist twisted!” And if you know Brawly, he was definitely not the person who would keep shut for that long. “I mean yes Anthony, but does your big fat mouth need a reminder of how your phone number of a body weight disables you from even swinging your hand?” Anthony gave off an evil grin, and then said something unexpected- “Yes Brawly, I remember that, but do you personally need a reminder of how your best friend left you because you are an absolute failure”
Even though Brawly could insult Anthony to the point where he would start crying, something held him back from doing that. There was truth in what Anthony said, that stopped him from saying a word. He knew for a fact that Anthony was using his trauma for shutting his mouth up. He didn’t want to tease Brawly, he wanted him to see him cry. And sad to say, he got what he wanted. Brawly had to hide his tears, so he sat down back on his seat. Everyone was shocked, as they expected Brawly to win. Even though many of Brawly’s friends didn’t like this, even they broke into laughter, forcefully, to avoid getting teased themselves. The truth is, a week ago Brawly’s best friend Max stopped talking to him. This was because Anthony fed Max’s parents bad information about Brawly, to take revenge for Brawly insulting him in front of their classmates. Max’s parents thought he was a bad influence because as a matter of fact, Brawly was not really passing all of his classes. He only cared about playing cricket, and even though he was nice with his friends, bantering with others and his behavior, according to Max’s parents, socially unacceptable. He had heard these things from his mother, but he did not pay attention to it until today, when Anthony reminded him of this incident.
With this shame he received in the bus, and the loss of his recent cricket match, he was definitely at an all-time-low. He himself surely knew that he was a complete failure. The sound of kids talking in the bus which usually made him cheer up today sounded like the cawing of a mad crow. Everybody, but him was happy that day. He felt as if he was lost. Even physically, he was in a state of constant discomfort as his wrist hurt.
After that, school didn’t go too well either. And at home, he was grounded with lots of homework. Knowing how he had ruined his life, at night, he lay on his bed he just pondered on how things had gone to this extent. This thought crept inside of him and felt as he was drowning in an ocean of disappointment. These thoughts irritated him to the point where he had a hard time falling asleep that day. He just wished that he was someone else. This was an all-time low, which he was encountering. He hoped for better days…..

But now he was determined, determined for better days. He had had enough. He had made a decision. He was making a fresh new start the next day.
