It took me around twenty minutes to finally finish getting ready. I checked myself out in my mirror, a simple white lace trimmed cropped tee with a lace bow hanging on the top, matched with a pair of light blue jean shorts. On my feet sat some old frilly white socks my mom had bought me years ago and some white and blue vans.

My chocolate brown hair was down, straightened to perfection, sitting well past my shoulders and down my back. I decided to keep the make up simple, only applying eyeliner and a clear lip gloss before I finally smiled at my reflection.

I looked pretty damn good.

I grabbed my bag and tossed the chained band over my shoulder, dumping my phone and my wallet inside it before heading out of my room. I walked downstairs, the boys looking over at me with a smile. "Finally, we were starting to wonder if you fell asleep." Luke joked, a grin breaking out onto my face.

My eyes met Ashton's, who's held an unknown emotion but the hazel color was shining bright. He had such pretty eyes. I bit down on my lip, watching as they began to darken slightly. Knowing I had such an impact on him made my stomach flutter in all the right ways. Stop.

I cleared my throat, breaking our gaze before walking with Luke over to the front door. He opened it, holding his hand out so I could exit first. "Thank you." I said softly, stepping out of the door.

Once we were all piled in Ashton's car, we started the thirty minute drive to the boardwalk. I was practically bouncing from excitement from the front seat. It had been so long since I went to any type of fair, it had been so long I couldn't really remember when the last time I went was.

Calum and Luke were in the backseat, engrossed in a quite loud discussion about pokémon, causing a slight chuckle to leave my lips under my breath. "What?" Ashton asked, breaking my gaze from the window to over at him.

I chewed at my lip, shaking my head. "Nothing." I waved it off, watching him hold back a grin before I turned back towards the window. "So, are we just riding rides?" I asked, curious as to exactly what the plan was.

The three of them chuckled, Calum and Luke now tuning in. "No, babe, we're gonna be drinking behind the fair and then going drunk." Ashton informed me, my head nodding slightly. It sounded pretty fun, as long as we didn't get caught.

"Plus, Mikey rented a beach house for the weekend so we all are gonna party back there too. I'm guessing you have to go home though?" Luke chimed in, an amused tone lingering in his voice as he smirked over at me.

I blushed slightly, knowing how my mom made me seem like some little kid. Tonight was my way to prove it all wrong. "If Ashton can promise he can have me at the airport by eight, no I don't." I said, sending a challenging gaze towards Luke who just sat back with a smirk.

"Maybe the good girl isn't so good after all." He snickered, my eyes holding back a eye roll before looking back at him with a slight smirk of my own.

"Nobody ever said I was a good girl." I dared, Luke's blue eyes now a darker color like Ashton's had changed earlier too. It seemed like tonight was going to be rememberable.

An hour later, we were all downing shots and beers in Michael's beach house, Luke seeming to be checking me out every time I happened to glance over. I noticed how when I caught Luke staring, Ashton looked more annoyed than ever. "Don't you have a boyfriend?" Ashton blurted out, my eyes now quickly looking over at him with a cold stare.

"No." I answered flatly, a little angry he decided to bring that up when he knew nothing.

Ashton sighed from beside me, his hand brushing against my arm, my eyes dropping to glance down at it. "I'm sorry, I just don't want you making mistakes you'll regret when you're sober." He mumbled, my eyes softening at his words as he scuffed his feet, his eyes avoiding mine.
