You'd known the twins since you were kids and went everywhere together. You all had your adventures and flings but always ended up back to them. But after a couple of times, you realized you weren't interested in their random admires you had when out. Your mind always wandered back to Toyla. What he was doing, if he was enjoying his trip. Or. Was he thinking of you? Did he wonder what you were doing too? Did he not sleep with how much he thought about you? You felt delusional and crazy as the thoughts kept filling your mind as you saw Toyla running towards you with his arms open.

"Toyla?!" I yelled and his body came barreling into mine. He held me tightly as we lay on the ground.

"Oh, how I've missed you!" He whispered in my ear, I held on to him and laughed. I slowly sat up with him still on top of me.

"Where's Tamar?" I looked around, and he stood up and put a hand out to help me up. I took it, continuing to look around.

"She's meeting up with some friends at some bar." He shrugged. I pointed to a breakfast place near us.

"Wanna get some food?" He smiled.

"You know me too well." He winked at me, we began to walk into the restaurant and sit down. We order and I noted him staring at me.

"You look just as lovely as I remember," Toyla said and smiles at me. My heart raced and I felt butterflies in my stomach. He always knew what to say to make me feel special.

"I'm just a memorable person." I joked and shrugged my shoulders as he laughed. I leaned my head on my hand and smiled at him. "Miss me?"

"Saints could never pull me away from you." He smiled back and I felt my face flush. I decided to change the topic to stop my heart racing, though I was sure he could sense it.

"So are you just having a quick stop here?" I asked and took a sip of my drink, our food was dropped off by a waitress. I thanked her and looked back to Toyla, waiting for an answer.

"We needed more supplies so we took a stop. What are you doing here?" He said a took a bite of his food.

"I settled down here, I got a place of my own." I smiled at him and his face looked shocked.

"You live here?! What happened to your sense of adventure? Not wanting to be stuck?" I giggled at his reaction.

"I guess I just wanted to stay in one place, so you'd always find me." I joked and ate some of my food. He was silent and didn't look at me.

"Really?" Toyla said, still looking down at his plate.

"Really what?"

"Did you always want me to find you?" His eyes met mine, but they were filled with sorrow. I felt my expression change to one of sympathy.

"I knew if I came looking for you, you'd move to another spot. So I stayed here, with open arms and a smile!" I smiled softly at him, and he suddenly took my hand and squeezed it.

"You treat me too well." He said to me, the words felt drenched in love and I saw his cheeks dust with pink. I let my eyes trail his face and then flickered back up to his eyes.

"I treat you well because you mean the world to me," I said, his face suddenly getting stern.

"Can I see your place?" He asked, I tilted my head in confusion.

"You wanna see my place? What for?"

"No reason."

"Wouldn't be no reason if you suddenly asked." His eyes moved from my face and he played with his hands.

"I want to go somewhere.. private." He murmured. I smiled and placed my hands on his fidgeting ones.

"Private huh? Want to get me alone?" I teased but I saw him smirk at me.

"I just want some time alone with you." I tilted my head at him then called the waitress and paid for our food then stood up, Toyla seemed eager and was already holding the restaurant's door open for me. It was a 15-minute walk to my place and we discussed things as we walked. We eventually reached my front door and I held it open for Toyla.

"Home sweet home," I said as I saw him look around, touching a picking up various things I had and I sat in my lounge. "Still as curious as always, you are."

"Just wonderin' about your things, you've got a lot of stuff." His eyes wandered around the room, the walls, the ceiling, and my paintings. Until they wandered... Me.

"What?" I leaned on the armrest of the couch, my back up against it, my legs up against my chest but my eyes stuck to him. I could feel his eyes tracing me and I opened my mouth to say another word, though I stopped when he opened his.

"I've just missed you is all." He walked over to the couch and sat a little ways away from me.

"I've missed you too, been lookin' for the day I could take you in a fight again!" I moved towards him and jokingly hit him on his leg. He pushed me back and I continued to laugh.

"You were the stronger one of us," He admitted and chuckled. "Never let anyone beat you." Toylas eyes met mine and I felt lost in them. "I dreamed of the day I would see you again, Y/N." My heart skipped a beat and my face heated.

"Was it so horrendous without me for a couple of months?" He grabbed my hand that was resting on my leg, pulling me forward a bit.

"I prayed to come back to you; To tell you that I.." His voice trailed off.

"Tell me what?" I asked.

"Nevermind." I scooted closer to him.

"You can tell me anything." I rubbed my thumb across the back of his and softly smiled at him. He sighed and moved so his whole body was facing me.

"I do not think I can go on any more adventures without you." I tilted my head, confused.

"Think you won't be safe enough without me?" I smiled at him but he remained serious so I dropped my smile.

"I cannot be anywhere without you, the pain is too much to bear." Tolyas eyebrows knit into worry and gently squeezed my hand.

"Tell me your thoughts, Toyla."

"I want to be with you, I realized how dreadful I was without you. Each time away I thought of you, day and night. Not a second went by without catching myself pandering about how you were, how you were doing, or if you thought about me as much as I thought about you." My breath hitched as he spoke and I felt the world freeze. Nothing but his words filled my head, they circled and filled my lungs but him squeezing my hand again pushed me away from my thoughts.

"Y/N? What are you thinking?" He asked, I noted concern in his voice as he asked.

"I- uh.." I stammered, my cheeks flushed and I was at a loss for words.

"What I said was outrageous but it was true and couldn't resist telling you anymore. My heart ached every time I laid my eyes on you and the words sat in my mouth, begging to be said." He was going on a tangent before I know what I was doing, I grabbed his face and kissed him. Toylas hand slithered around my waist and my hands entangled in his hair. Slowly I pulled away, opening my eyes and I watched as his head lightly bucked forward.

"Toyla I-" He put one hand on my cheek, the other staying on my waist.

"You don't have to say anything." He sounded breathless and his eyes kept flickering to my lips. He quickly leaned in again and passion filled the air. Toyla pulled me onto his lap and moved me to my back on the couch. His hands roamed around me as I kept mine on his hair, entangling and slightly tugging as soft noises left his mouth. The night felt like it lasted forever and I wanted it too.
