The baby had to stay in the hospital for a few weeks, while Mon and Sam's Lawyer worked none stop until they got the legal guard of the baby! Because there were no family members and the birth mom had given Mon the right to keep her baby if anything happened, all they needed to do was go through with legal papers in court and so on! Plus Sam was a well-known woman so that made things easier for them!
Mon held a beautiful funeral to send off Yah, her beautiful friend, coworker, and now the mother of her baby with Sam. It was a beautiful and sad ceremony! Hopefully, wherever Yah was she was happy. They were going to love her baby so much, and make him the happiest boy ever!

They didn't share the news with anyone, they wanted it to be a surprise. They wanted when everything was finalized so they could tell everyone!
Mon and Sam were feeling over the moon with the fact that they would have another baby, it was never planned. They never had talked about adding another one to the family and it all seemed like destiny!
Now they would have another little one to love and care for. Happiness wasn't even a word!

Sam slowly started to buy baby stuff for their new bundle of Joy. She secretly hired someone to decorate the new baby's room while Mon spent most of her days in the hospital with the baby!
With Ariee at school, it was much easier for her to prepare the surprise.

Speaking of Ariee, the little girl was loving her new school. She made quite a few friends and even had planned play dates with her new classmates.
Now Sam and Mon were feeling less worried since her transition was going smoothly and she didn't seem to have any complaints about the new school! She was loving everything and all
she talked at the dinner table was how amazing her school and teachers were.

After a month in the hospital, Mon and Sam were finally given the right to take the baby home. It was official, they had a new baby boy!
They didn't mention anything to Ariee, they planned to pick her up from school and show her new brother. The next day they would have a family lunch and tell everyone the big surprise!

Though they were supper happy with the new baby, Mon couldn't help but feel a little anxious about how Ariee would react. Their daughter was a sweet heart but she was also very stubborn at times. She's been the only child for almost five years now and she has all the attention and love just for her! There was a 99% chance she will not like the idea of having a brother at first. They were just hoping to be wrong about this!

Mon and Sam arrived home first, they will spend some time with the new baby before picking up Ariee at school in about two hours. Mon prepared a huge basket with her favorite goodies and toys to promote her to a big sister role, hopefully, that will help her adjust better to the idea!

When Mon went up to the second floor, Sam gently guided her to the guest room next to Ariee's room while she was holding the newborn.

Mon; Where are we going, babe? - confused
Sam; Just keep going, you will see! -

When they got to the door Mon's face instantly lit up. A white door sign could be seen with their new son's name, KASEM! The name was picked by Sam and Mon while the newborn was still at the hospital! It meant happiness, and it was only right that they picked it. He was their new happiness, the missing piece to their family.
Mon hugged Sam on the side with the biggest smile. She wasn't expecting this surprise. Sam had told her she bought a few clothes and baby boy stuff, but she never expected that she had prepared a whole room to welcome their new child!
When she opened the door, her eyes immediately sparkled with the beauty and details that could be seen! Sam thought of everything, and it was beautiful! Mon was speechless, she looked around in awe!
