Today was a big day, Ariee was turning one! Sam, Mon and the rest of the family and friends had been excitedly waiting for this day to arrive. A big party was planned to celebrate the little princess of the house's biggest milestone so far. The theme chosen was "sweetest candy land" all in pastel colors. The girl was the sweetest thing in the world and adored by all her family and friends, the theme couldn't get any better. Sam and Mon worked hard picking and hiring the best team to work on decorating, catering, and entertainment for their girl's big day. It was going to be the party of THE YEAR! It was going to be the first time Sam and Mon were going to show Ariee's face to the public; they had kept the girls face from the media, and on social media, they only posted her hands and feet. Everyone was curious and ready to see the beautiful girl's face! Though the moms still wanted to keep the little girl's identity away from the public eye, it was getting hard doing so. She was getting old, outdoor activities were becoming more frequent and the paparazzi are already ready to make some money using Ariee's face. They decided her birthday was the perfect day to do so!
Ariee was a big girl now, she said her very first word which was "mama" - both parents were very proud! When she took her first steps Mon cried the whole day, saying the girl was growing too fast and soon she would be turning eighteen and off to college! It's been an emotional couple of months watching Ariee grow and become a little tiny human. The girl looked exactly like Sam but had Mon's personality. It was amazing!
Grandparents and friends were looking forward to her birthday but especially because Mon promised when the girl turned one she could have a sleepover at their house. She was still nervous about her decision but it would be a great way for her and Sam to spend time alone - if you know what I mean ;) -
Ariee woke up with both of her parents singing happy birthday while holding a mini cake with a candle. She smiled and Sam held her while giving her birthday kisses. They helped her blow the candle and Mon kissed her head while crying. It was a bittersweet moment for the two mommies. They were celebrating their first daughter's big moment! They spent the whole morning playing and celebrating Reeree, just the two of them; they had a big breakfast, and watched Ariee's favorite show "Peppa pig" while the decoration team worked on turning the big fancy house into a "sweetest candy land" paradise! The party will start at 3 pm! All the family and friends would arrive by then. Mon and Sam wanted the morning all for the three of them! It was a huge party so lots of Sam's workers and business partners would be there. Mon only invited her closest friends and family members, but her Dad and stepmom also traveled from England to meet their granddaughter on her birthday!

By 2:40 pm they were all ready. Mon wore a simple white silk dress while Sam wore a white blazer and short set; they kept it simple. Sam did complain that Mon's dress showed a lot of cleavage but Mon gave her a hot kiss to make her shut, it did work I will tell you!
The family and close friends arrived first, to be able to take pictures with the birthday girl before everyone else's arrive. As soon as they got there Mon and Sam lost track of their daughter. Auntie Jin, Grandma, Grandma An, Grandpa, Auntie Irin, and little cousin Mimi all had turns carrying and individually spoiling Ariee. They showered her with hugs and gifts. They sang and dance with the girl, making her giggle and smile at the funny faces and noises they would make. Sam and Mon felt lucky, the girl would always be surrounded by the love of their families and friends. They had been worried picturing their little girl's future, given that she has two moms it was more likely that her school years would not be easy. However, Ariee had a whole tribe of family who would be ready to face anyone for her! She was a lucky girl! The perfect girl in Sam and Mon's eyes, she was their biggest gift after all!
Mon's and Sam's mansion was packed with important people celebrating their daughter's birthday. Everything was going perfectly great like they had a picture. Ariee was the life of the party, the girl was full of energy and all smiles with the guest. Everyone complimented her personality and beauty. They took pictures with the two mom and their daughter ready to brag on social media that they attended the party of the year! After cutting the cake at 7 pm, Ariee started to show signs of tiredness. It was about time, the girl had a long day and didn't nap all day. She was extra tired! Some guests had left and it was just some close friends, Sam's and Mon's coworkers, and family that were left talking and drinking. Mon decided to go put their girl to sleep and Sam went with her! They changed her outfit and gave her a quick bath so she would sleep better! Sam dressed Ariee while Mon waited on the rocking chair to feed her girl. Ariee quickly took Mon's boobs out and guided them to her mouth which made her mommies laugh. She was not hungry but the little girl would not sleep without having breast milk. Mon tried to stop it a few weeks before her birthday but it didn't work, so they decided to let her enjoy it a little longer! Sam sat next to her wife while they looked at the little girl eating. She slowly closed her eyes and Sam turned on the night light and white noise to help her sleep better. Mon got up and gently put her in the crib and just like that Ariee was out for the night. Mon and Sam hugged each other while looking at their little Angel soundly asleep.
Mon; she's so perfect - whispering Sam; The most perfect girl - they smiled - Mon; I want her to stay just like this, I'm scared for the future. Our world is so cruel and Im not ready to see how they will view our little girl - she sighed - Sam; We will be here, and her family will be there for her as well. I will never let anyone hurt you two, as long as I'm breathing! - she looked at Mon who had tears in her eyes - Mon; I know you wouldn't! We love you more than anything- she gave Sam a soft kiss and laid her head on her chest while looking at her daughter! - We will protect her! Sam; Always, my love. Always!
