Yes, hi there, me again.
Just wanted to say time gaps in important arcs like the academy one is so much less peaceful than the 'just reincarnated arc'.
The main concern is cause of the more important characters that show up.
I don't know why the important heirs have shown up...okay maybe I do know why, but they cause a stir everywhere.
Princes and their vassal? Check.
Pretty and arrogant noble ladies? Check.
Talented commoners? Check.
Discrimination of said commoners? Check.
Perfect student council? Check.
There is only so many characters named, but why do I feel like there are so many more?
Not to mention how big the school is.
If someone says it's cause I've become the protagonist, it is not.
I haven't 'accidentally' gotten into awkward positions with the original harem members nor have I ever properly been face to face with other important characters.
Not to mention the main protagonist was already announced as the prophesied hero and will be joining within a few weeks.
Oh yeah, and the time gap was at least a year and a half.
A lot of nothing has really happened within that time when concerning the nations expect for how dire the situation looks.
But, even when there was impending death looming over everyone the stereotypes had to go on.
"Ahh~ Lord Fucile~"
Yes, this is what I meant.
"Shhh Cecilia. No noise in the library, remember~?"
If you didn't wanna make noise then you should've just gone to a separate room.
Knowing that I couldn't concentrate on the book I was reading now, I stood up to move to a not-so-public reading spot.
I got jump scared by my younger brother who was just about to barge into the library.
He was 15 now so he also had to attend the academy.
Although, I do admit it is a bit embarrassing that he knows the school better than I do while only having been here for 6 months, but at least I have a reliable guide around now.
I had him hold the books I checked out and quickly covered his ears as I led him out the library.
Even if I didn't know how to handle him sometimes, he's still my younger brother and a kid.
A kid shouldn't hear about the love affairs of his seniors in a place to study.
"Big brother! I heard there was going to be a welcoming ceremony for the hero!"
Rodney was as energetic as ever as he handed the books back to me and kept talking about what he'd heard of the school news.
It seems like you could have a partner with you as Rodney alluded to.
"So, big brother, wanna go with me to the party?"
He should've said ceremony instead of party...but I guess he is still adjusting his informal speech.
I nodded my head at his suggestion as he pounced on me and wrapped me in a tight hug.
Seriously, where did this brother complex of his come from?
