You've seen the title, it's finally time for the hero to make his debut and the beginning of the events.
Thank the goddess they didn't make the event at night after classes, that would've been some serious trouble.
Anyways, all the students were gathered with their elaborate gowns and suits and eagerly waited for the hero to show up.
Rodney poured himself some orange juice as we both sat down.
He talked about how all the girls in his class were buzzing about the hero's arrival and how he would look.
Then he talked about his monster hunt next week on his class trip.
I guess he was a part of one of the starting events huh?
The early event, 'Unforgiving Monster Hunt', was because of a failed estimate of the monsters' powers during one of the academy's expeditions.
A few of the students went missing, some were confirmed dead, and many were injured.
The hero also went on the trip and realized the ruthlessness of monsters and that fueled his shaky drive at first to stop the monsters from ravaging the lands.
I did worry that Rodney would be one of the dead or fatally injured, but from what the novel listed, there was no student named Rodney that was either.
Since the hero had yet to show up I decided to read a little on one of the private balconies.
I was honestly on the look out for one of the protagonist's options of a typical talented heroine meeting on a balcony, but it seems like he chose another route.
Since I didn't see anything I was interested in I decided to just immerse myself in my reading.
When I heard a knock on the panel door I locked to not have any encounters, I turned to see Rodney.
"Big brother! The hero's already made his appearance!"
As soon as I unlocked the door I was dragged by him to the center of the crowd.
The first sight of him really made one think, 'Yep, he's the main protagonist.'
Not just the main protagonist of his world, but everyone else's too.
He's got the perfectly proportioned face, but somehow retains the innocent boy-next-door vibe.
It was a shame that some noble guys are gonna look down on him cause of their jealousy and his commoner status.

The class was noisier than ever cause of the hero deciding to try it out.
I knew I'd have some classes with him since in the story he got to pick any classes and situated himself with the one he resonated with most, but I didn't think the very first class would be it.
By the way, this class was available for all grades since it wasn't that popular among students, but the faculty still needed to maintain the minimum amount to keep the class running.
That was how the hero got to know some of the older love interests actually, by attending mixed classes.
Now that I think about it, the hero is younger than me huh?
He's also going to be in the same year as Rodney....Let's not jinx the chances of something bad happening during the Monster Hunt event.
Everyone desperately looked out of the hallway windows as the footsteps of the hero approached closer and closer.
