The kitchen knife effortlessly pushed through the skin of the person. The slow stab seemed to make it harder for the person's realization of their bleeding injury to sink in.

A silent scream was let out by the person as the attacker watched with an expressionless face. A plea was heard, begging for the person to spare them which quickly turned into desperate whisper for help to anyone once they saw the shadowed face looking down at them.

The dark room warped as the student looked at the person's face for longer and longer. The black surroundings started to open into giant eyeballs to look at the person bleeding on the ground.

Looking on, doing nothing to help the helpless person in front of them. It was only a few moments later the student died from blood loss, parting with the feelings of abandonment and helplessness.

The shadowy attacker looked emotionlessly at the dead body in front of them and only stepped through the large puddle of blood towards the dormitory's balcony. The room warped back to being as it was before and the moonlight beautifully illuminated the gruesome scene.

In the room were multiple bodies of female and male students, all of which had died from unknown causes that can only be presumed as mental attacks. Their faces all contorted in fear, hopelessness, and resignation.

The person collapsed to their knees as their heavy breathing continued on for several minutes before a retching sound was heard and the meal they'd last eaten was puked out. This happened several more times before the person was too tired to even vomit anything anymore and simply collapsed from exhaustion.

Their beautifully handsome face relaxed as their vision had begun to darken. All they wanted was rest now that today was almost over.

"I'm sorry....I'm sorry....it just....feels so good!"

Did that surprise you?

That was a line from the killer of the academy.

Something that hid behind the facade of a human face.

A twisted creature that solely killed to be judged.

Eh, but it was probably human?

Well, they started killing students long before the monster hunt, but no one took serious precautions to look for them.

Of course there were many students that ran away from the academy due to various reasons and, although the student weren't punished, their families were instead if they ran away.

The school could turn their heads away from the disappearances due to this fact, but it changed after the tragic monster hunt.

They'd tightened their defenses, yet students still go missing.

They were probably the first mid-game boss in the first chapter of the story.

It's a pain to fight them if you don't have the right skills or don't totally over level.

It was also another instance where the hero's personality developed more due to the abilities of the boss.

Now, why am I suddenly concerned about this instead of the monster hunt?

Well well well!
