"Cry~ cry~ cry~ your worthless tears~!"

"Cry~ cry~ cry~ your life away~!"

The disgusting melody was sung by the platinum haired little boy with a smile on his face. As if pretending to play the role of the appearance he took he happily watered the odd flowers.

Blood dripped from where water was supposed to be expelled, coloring the gray leaves in a dark red to match the roses' petals. The boy's companion paid no attention as he continued to train the human's version of magic while curled up on the greenhouse's couch.

What they called in his hand right now is a wand, right? It seems quite useless for their magic which arose the question on why they included it in their books.

"Theleis, you're still playing with those little tricks of theirs?"

The boy dressed like a classical magician with his little white top hat glanced at his companion. The same platinum white hair, the same cloudy dark eyes, the same young appearance, one could mistake the two for twin brothers.

If one assumed that they would not be wrong. Their place of origin were the same, they were practically clones only differing in personality and appearance due to their dealings.

Theleis didn't even give the boy a glance as he reached for the snack. A finger, still slightly bloody, was brought to his mouth as he bit down on it with a crunch.

"That boy has begun to learn it. Why would I not want to connect with my kin?"

Even with that appearance Theleis acted much more stoic and indifferent compared to his cheery and childish companion. Although that didn't mean his companion was any less demonic than him.

"But that thing's just a half-breed ain't he? Honestly, I don't see why you'd share your blood with such pathetic existence."

Demons that shared their blood would obviously become weaker, yet Theleis willingly made a deal with that man for his first half-breed kin. Although a pure blooded one took more blood it was indescribably more powerful, so why would he do such a useless thing?

He could understand Adraneia and their want for more handy servants or Peina and their weird taste for meals, but Theleis wouldn't need them. There also wasn't the possibility it was a mistake on his part, the Theleis he knew wasn't one to make simple mistakes.

"You know nothing, Ziliaris. My craving...for that human's existence is far beyond what would be normal for a half-breed's power. I want it."

Normally, in exchange for their humanity the kin would receive a bit of the demon's innate ability. Whether it be from their luck or the amount of blood, the potency of those abilities vary.

Never had a half-breed been born with the ability to affect the original before though, at least not on the same level as pure bloods. It was a terrifying possibility to Ziliaris.

"It's that good huh? Then you should've auctioned him off to Lagnos."

The last crunch of the human bone was eaten by Theleis as he finally turned his gaze to Ziliaris. Before he knew, the disguised demon found the world spinning with his head landing in Theleis' hand, looking down at him with an icy indifferent face.

"I want it, Ziliaris. More than anything in this godless, pathetic world, I will get it."

Ah, he should've known better than to dismiss Theleis' comment. His companion was greedy, but it varied in stages. Now he knew the last part was definitely his companion's newest fixation.

A small grin plastered itself on his face. He was getting a little jealous of this little toy of Theleis'; maybe he'll visit it one day.
