BisolaMy first-ever kiss tasted of sardines.
It was in secondary school, my last year in the junior class and we were playing truth or dare. I had only joined because James was also part of the circle, and I wanted to test my luck. But when the bottle spun and landed on Gorge, the ugliest boy in our class, I knew it was over.
He had dared me to kiss him, baring his yellow teeth at me. Not wanting to be singled out than I already was, I placed my lips on his and regretted it for the rest of my life.
But this...this was different.
John's tongue slithered into my mouth in invitation and I let him, our mouths intertwining as it seized all air in my lungs. John kissed me with a share force of utter lust and-hunger, his rough hands snaking up and down my back, as he made an unknown desire erupt in me that I knew could only be quelled by the feel of his lips on mine.
He tasted odd of mint and mouthwash, a taste I kind of liked. I was loving it, I was honestly loving this, and I didn't want to stop, but I couldn't breathe, the pressure of his lips on mine left me breathless.
I pulled back to intake some air, but John didn't let me as he held my face swiftly and kissed me again, making me melt under him like a slob of ice cream under the scorching heat of the summer sun.
His tongue danced in my mouth and mine in his. We kissed for such a long time I wasn't sure anymore. John groaned against my lips, kissing me deeper, and then he pulled back, stared into my eyes, and laughed.
I wondered what was so funny.
My breathing became heavy, I stared at John's lips and it was pinkish and swollen. His eyes darkened with lust as he leaned in again, but I came to my senses.
"Stop," I said my voice hoarse. What in the world am I doing?
"Stop?" John rose a questioning eyebrow at me, his palms which were suddenly hot on my skin, went down to the brim of my waist, and began to rub low circles on it. I took in a sharp breath.
"That's enough. We are not supposed to be doing this"
John frowned, "Are you seriously saying that right now?"
I snapped my eyes shut and didn't answer. He sighed and rested his head on the couch, giving me a bitter look. He muttered something under his breath. I didn't want to hear.
"Satisfied?" I asked, my voice a mere whisper of what it had been. My heavy breathing filled the room, and my brain couldn't think straight no matter how much I willed it to. This was all so confusing.
I wriggled my body to get out of his grasp but his hands, firm on my waist, pulled me back.
"John let me go,"
His lips twitched into a small smile "No,"
A gave him a flat look and he laughed once more, heaving me off his lap-how he could do this without breaking a sweat baffling me-and placing me on the couch next to him. I immediately stood and walked out.
He grabbed my arm.
"Where are you going? Don't you want to-"
"I'm good, I don't need your answer anymore," I hissed at him, running my tongue over my bottom lip. I could still taste him. "Let's forget what just happened,"
