"Mom I'm okay I'm going out this weekend." I explained to her so she didn't think she I was going to be cooped up in my dorm all weekend. I was currently packing and trying to convince my mom to go back home after being here all week to make sure I was okay. She was still a lawyer and had things to take care of back home
"If you need me to stay-" I had to cut her off
"Mommy I promise I'm okay please go take care of the twins and let them people know who the best lawyer in Georgia is." I said making her chuckle a little
"Okay Chasity if you need anything call me, I will always go the extra mile for you and your siblings." She added sincerely
"I know and I love you and Dad for that always. Have a safe flight back home." I told her smiling
"We will I love you too." With that she hung and I sighed in relief because I loved my parents being caring but I always loved the fact that I had my own independence living in LA
Knocking me out my thoughts Kenya came in with Miya "No because when I tell you Ezekiel ass can keep these little trifling campus hoes I mean it. I'm not competing with no bitch that can even match." She fussed causing Miya to laugh at her rant
"Bitch you still not packed?" Miya asking sitting in my vanity chair looking over my makeup products
We finally decided on Vegas it would be a fun little getaway and it would be nice to get out of LA and campus for a little bit
"I'm just packing my toiletries." I explained "Do you guys already have everything booked?" I looked over at them putting the last of my stuff away before zipping my mini suitcase
"Yes you don't have to worry about anything. Plus we gotta a surpriseee" Kenya smirked making side eye them suspiciously "It's a good one girly." She added
"Okay." I shrugged I didn't need no surprises that would potentially mess up a well needed getaway

We were finally in the airbnb and to say it was beautiful was an understatement we had an incredible view of Vegas and night life in Vegas was gorgeous.
"Thank you y'all for this I needed it." I pouted trying not to get too emotional at the fact I indeed did have the greatest friends I could've asked for
"Don't get too emotional baby girl." Miya said "You our girl and we got you forever beyond friendship this is sisterhood." She said beyond Miya looks she was intelligent she was majoring in criminal justice but minored in chemistry
"I love y'all." I said pulling them both into a hug "Y'all bitches better said it back." I joked making them laugh and say it back to me
"Shot time!" Kenya yelled pulling out a bottle of Don Julio reposado and pouring the shots and handing it to us and wanting to make a toast "I just want to say cheers to this year it's going to be the best year for us. More growth, healing, and of course beating & dusting this bitches in track like we've been doing all season. I also want to take the time to say God do things for a reason and that he removed that fuck boy out your life for a reason. So to bigger and better thingssss!" She raised the glass
"Cheerrrss!" We took the shot causing all of us to make a face
"Where we going first?" I asked as I looked over the art in the home that we were in
"I was thinking Sin City, I looked at reviews and they Instagram and it looks lit." Miya said shrugging we already agreed and went to get dressed
I sported this pink two piece I seen on Instagram it was owned by a black owned business and paired it with an orange pair of heels I knew would go perfect with it. I was still letting my hair breathe so I slicked it back making sure to lay my edges down because I knew how the club heat got.
Walking over the mirror in the corner of the room was in and looked over my outfit and nodded in an approval. Nobody could take my beauty away from me. Yes I got cheated on but no boy because he wasn't a man could make me be insecure about myself my dad installed that in me a long time ago.

Liking his comment I exited out the app and when into the common area of the house seeing both Miya & Kenya ready to go.
"Ahhh look at yall!" I squealed it's been a while since seeing Kenya dressed up because she was so stressed so it was good to see her back in her element.
"Thank you but as soon I touch down back in LA I'm contacting my nail tech cause ain't no way I tried to be different getting short white nails and now they look like somebody veneer teeth." Miyah complained looking at her nails and then put them by her mouth mocking people who had veneers that were too big for their mouth making us laugh at her foolishness
"Oh yea someone is meeting us at the club." She said with a sly grin

Already a couple shots in a my hair was done for we was now in the middle of singing Tevin Campbell- Can We Talk with my heart and soul recording myself along with Miya and Kenya
Feeling someone wrap the hands around me and sway to the music and sing it my ear made a chill go down my spine but I smile nonetheless but turning around to see who it was behind me
Looking up at the figure it was Ezra he was wearing a slight smirk on his face making smile back at him wrapping my arms around his neck. I knew for sure the liquor was putting extra courage in me but I didn't care.
"What are you doing here?" I questioned yelling over the music as I used one of hand to rub on his cheek
"Your girls said y'all was coming out here I wanted to come and see you." He bent down to my ear to tell me
"You could've waited till I came back." I slurred a little
Shaking his head no "I didn't like seeing you upset and plus you said I gotta catch you when I catch you."
"I'm not ready for another relationship Ezra." I blurted out
"I didn't say you had to be." He shrugged "This is me being here for you as your friend."
