"Why wouldn't you trust me." Ezra whispered in my ear
"I do." I looked up at him as he grabbed my head making my heart flutter and guided me through the crowd and to the back where it wasn't many people and much quieter
"How you feeling about the party?" He asked
I shrugged and chuckled a little thinking back at the moment "You were showing off." I played with his fingers as they sat in my lap
"I wasn't." He shook his head "Your the only girl that I want to have my attention and that in there was confirming that." He stated with all seriousness in face
"Why?" Was all I could say "There are things you don't know about me Ezra." I looked down at my lap I knew it was the liquor that was making me emotional but it was the truth he didn't know me the way he thought he did
"Look at me." He lifted my head up "There are things you don't know about me either but this is a learning process Chasity. I ain't here to judge you love we take shit as slow as you need we on your timing." He said making sure emphasis on your time looking over my face wiping a tear I didn't realize that feel
Moving closer to his face I pressed my lips onto his as his kissed me back holding the small of my back closing my eyes in the moment wrapping my arms around his neck
"What the fuck is this!" I heard a voice making us break apart seeing a mad Sierra. She was gorgeous but she was on my shit list.
"Sierra don't start your shit." Ezra spoke agitated
"This the bitch you think could replace me?" She laughed
"I been being nice but you could get an Atlanta ass whooping fucking with me keep calling me out my name." I spoke crossing my arms across my chest I wasn't going to keep getting called too many bitches
"Chasity chill, why are you here?"
"Because Ezra I told you I wanted to fix this. Us." She tried walking up to him and hug him but he moved
"Sierra I told you already I'm done."
"You can't tell me you don't miss what we had, the things I used to do." She purred making me roll my eyes in disgust and brush pass them and back into the party where Miya and Kenya was but only seeing Kenya by herself talking to someone
"Everything okay?" Kenya slurred a little making internally chuckle because it was rare to see her drunk
"Yes I'm ready to go." I said looking down at my phone it was 2:30 in the morning we both had practice in the morning so I knew we was going to regret staying out so late
"Okay let's go get Miya." She said dragging us along into the kitchen where her and Nasir was talking and she was blushing making me make a mental note to ask her about it.
"Miya, we're heading out you staying or coming with?"
"You know we always leave together." Miya stated which was true "I'll catch you later Nasir." She gave him a small smile making our way out the door
As we walked it was a comfortable silence until Miya started speaking
"Nasir is actually really nice."
"I heard about him Miya just be careful I don't want you getting hurt because somebody not ready to settle."
"I know. Thank you for being concerned but I'm grown I know what it is I'm doing." She snapped making me furrowed my eyebrows at her response
"Miya it's not that you don't know what you're doing I'm just trying to look out for you." I told her I didn't have the mental capacity to handle an argument right now
"Well I don't need you looking out for me." She said "Look I'll just see y'all." She left in the direction of her dorm making me sigh
"What the fuck just happen?" Kenya said
"I don't even know and I don't want to talk about it. All I want is my bed." I said as I walked through the door my phone started to ring seeing it was Ezra I didn't answer which resulted in him texting me
Ezra ✨: At least let me know you made it to your dorm safe
I did.
Ezra ✨: I promise I'm not on that type of timing with Sierra. I was serious about what I said to you tonight.
Prove it.
Was all I said before putting my phone on the charger and doing my nightly routine before heading to bed.

"Okay ladies this weekend we have a big met coming up against our biggest virals Standford Unversity!" Our coach Mr. Smith said "I need our times to be out of this world on this field today I don't need no slackers." He spoke looking around at the team "Let's start warm ups"
Going over to Kenya we started to warm up and stretching
"You seen Shanice tweets last night?" Kenya asked
"Girl yes." I rolled my eyes "I don't have to do much talking especially on social media my stats talk for themselves. Once we get on that field that's my talking " I shrugged
"Clock that teaaaaa." She extended making us both laugh
"Hey you spoke to Miya I texted but go no response." I said as I stretched my arms
"I've been trying to call and go to her dorm but her roommate been saying she's not there." She shrugged "Uh Chas you might want to turn around." She held a smile on her face
Turning I was now facing Ezra who was holding a bouquet of lilies, milk chocolate covered strawberries, and card making pout and smile at the sight walking over to him
"You didn't have to do this." I told him
"I know but I wanted to make up for yesterday. I'm serious about you Sierra isn't who I-" I cut him off by kissing him making him instantly kissing me back
"Hey no PDA on the field back to warm ups Ms. Alsina."
"I gotta back to practice but I want you at my meet this Saturday if you're not busy." I asked
"I'll be there." He said making me smile and kiss his cheek then lips grabbing the stuff and head back to what it was I was doing
