At morning

Eleanor wake up as the sun's light shines on her face, then she yawned and stretched before getting out of bed. She left the room to look for Doris, but at the upper deck, she saw her with Basselt near the ships bow. Both of them have their hands together, saying something that Eleanor couldn't hear past the crashing waves and the seagulls.

"Doris, the moment I saw you... I felt a spark in my heart. I... I- I think I am in love with you!" Stammered Basselt.

"I also feel the same way. You are a chieftain of the Tellus, and I am the leader of a pirate force consists of water magicians called Aquan. Earth and water go together like mixing blue and yellow paint to make green" said Doris.

Basselt hugged her, and she can feel the warmth coming from him. However, he smelled like he haven't bathed in a month, which made Doris slightly pushed him back. Then the duo noticed that Eleanor was standing behind them, in which they promptly blushed and stepped away from each other.

"H-how long have you been standing here!?" Asked Basselt while blushing.

"I shouldn't really spoil the moment for you two lovebirds" replied Eleanor with a chuckle.

Doris didn't say anything, for she felt bashful upon having Eleanor witnessing her confession with Basselt.

"In any case, I sure need to wash myself. I stink like salt and animal guts, so I should be going now" said Basselt, before leaving the ship.

"Well, take care" said Doris.

Basselt waved at her before leaving, and disappeared into the forest. Doris couldn't believe she actually fell in love with the leader of the Tellus, and yet he loved her too. Eleanor doesn't want to ruin the moment, so she didn't say anything.

"Eleanor, I've got this feeling by what you said about us dying to a fate might come true. I couldn't help but worry about Basselt" said Doris.

"I'm sure, he can handle it. He is an earth magician after all, he can protect himself by using rocks and soil" assured Eleanor.

"It couldn't hurt if we were to check up on him" said Doris.

Eleanor blushed for a moment, she doesn't want to check on a man bathing at a river somewhere. Without further ado, Doris had to take her out of the ship and into the woods at the shore. Two of the other water magicians on the ship accompanied the duo as a means of bodyguarding, despite the fact that both Doris and Eleanor are capable fighters. Within the forest, they all heard yelling coming from the east side, so they had to follow where it's coming from. When they got there, they found a calm river, but they saw that Basselt is struggling to fend off a bear while wearing no clothes on.

"Try and kill me you beast!" He yelled as he kicked the bear at it's face.

It snarled and let out a roar, before slashing it's sharp claws at him. Luckily, he created an armor made of numerous pebbles at the shore of the river, so the bears claws couldn't scratch him. He punched it hard that it sent it flying at the tree, but it got up as soon as it was on the ground. He bared his teeth, desperate for survival against the bear, then he rushed towards it. When he was about to punch it to kill it, the bear bit him on his left arm and penetrates the pebble armor he created from the pebbles of the river shore. He screamed in pain as all of the pebbles that covered his body fall off, as a result of losing concentration. Then the bear slashed its claw on his torso, but the wounds weren't deep enough to leave a scar compared to how it has bitten his left arm.

"We have to help him!" Said Eleanor.

"Right!" Replied Doris.

Doris casts a spell on the waters of the riverbank and shape it into the form of a hand, then the water hand grabbed the bear and plunged it into the deep water in order to drown it. It took over seven minutes, until the bear floated on the water, lifeless. Then Doris and Eleanor rushed over towards Basselt, not caring if their dresses got wet from crossing the river. He slumped against the tree groaning in pain, placing his arm on the wound on his torso as a futile effort to stop the bleeding. Luckily, Eleanor conjures two orbs of water from the river to stop the bleeding.

"Heh, am I so lucky to meet you two. I've lost so much... blood" he said in a weak voice.

"You'll be alright, save your strength and don't move" Eleanor reassured.

The water seeped into the wounds, causing him to grunt in pain as it stings his torso and arm.

"Judging from your wounds, the bears claw attack wasn't too deep on your torso to leave a scar, but it's rather fatal to leave it untreated along with how the bear bite your arm. If left untreated on your arm, it would soon get infected to the point that we would have to amputate it" explained Doris.

Basselt groaned as he rest his head against the tree, feeling relief that Eleanor is treating his wounds and not amputating his arm.

"We will have to get you treated at the ship, but let's find your clothes" said Eleanor.

"Its at the rock... over there near here" he replied, pointing downstream at the shore near where he was at.

His animal pelt clothing is piled on a rock, with his wolf skull headdress laying on top of it. Doris orders the two water magicians accompanying her and Eleanor to fetch his clothes, while she and Eleanor brings him to the ship to get treated. Then she and Eleanor helped him up, with his arms slinged around their necks as they carried him off to the ship.

Meanwhile

Numerous ships sailed towards where the Aquan are at, and each of them have different designs that each have an emblem that reflects an element:

One is a stone airship with oars that soared through the air, with an emblem representing the wind.

Second is a metal boat with a vague mix of Roman and Egyptian style and a chimney that spews steam, with an emblem representing fire.

Third is a wooden Sumerian style ship with sails made of light, with an emblem representing light.

Fourth is a stone boat with a mix of central and South american style, with an emblem representing darkness.

These ships belonged to each of the ancient tribes of magicians, and they are sailing towards the land of the Tellus.
