Glossary: the Black Leaves

No one knows when did the Black Leaves organization has started, but it consists of many magicians that turned to villainy and soldiers that have gone rogue. Their main objective is to use the elemental structures left behind by the ancient elemental tribes to take over the world, but their true objective is unclear. Their home base is situated somewhere at the north western part of the world, but the exact details are unknown.

Leadership

Emperor Terra: the leader of the Black Leaves, he is the enemy to the entire Order of the Nations and sometimes locked horns with them. While he wants to take over the world, he seeks to pick up where his ancient predecessor from five thousand years ago left off (he isn't related to the villain who destabilized the elements long ago). It seems that he is on edge after suffering a crushing defeat by the hands of the Axalthi, as well as the failures of capturing the Apollo observatory, Wind Tower, and the Water Colossus.

Selene: a gifted dark magician who serves the Emperor and the go to executioner to any magician who had failed the missions, she had embraced the power of darkness and is capable of manipulating shadows. She is a formidable opponent who also uses enchantment spells to charm her opponents before killing them when they are under her control, and conjure any type of shadow animals to slow her opponents down until they exhaust their strength. She met her demise when she's knocked into the trap door that leads to a pool of sharks once kept by the descendants of the Aquan.

Julius: formerly the general, thus the leader of the soldiers that served Emperor Terra. He was in charge of overseeing the base within the Wind Tower, and the resurrection of the Noctua brothers. After failing to defeat Nathan and the other two heroes, he willingly fall off the top floor of the Wind Tower rather than suffering a humiliating defeat. However, it's not clear if the fall killed him or if he managed to survive the fall and ditched the armor.

Middle ranking

Mila: an earth magician who specializes in bringing the dead back to life by ritual involving a clay vessel, she is also a direct descendant to the Tellus tribe. She is the one who had killed Sophias parents when the water magician was an infant, and since then, Sophia still holds a grudge on her. She is quickly killed by Sophia and William, and she is reduced to a pile of ashes and clothing (implying that she died the first time and was brought back).

Isamu: an ink magician from the far East and formerly a samurai, he was chosen by Isaac to accompany him to the Apollo observatory. After Isaac activates the Apollo observatory, it drew the attention of the Order of the Nations. Therefore, he gave his life after sending Eleanor and Isaac away.

Eleanor: a water magician and another member of the trio, she was chosen by Isaac to accompany him to the Apollo observatory. After getting sent to the Water Colossus alongside with Isaac to escape the Order of the Nations, she and him encountered the mysterious wish granting race of Axalthi. She made her wish to go back five thousand years into the past to change the fates of the leaders of the Aquan and the Tellus, and she even met the leaders of the ancient tribes. Since then, she now goes adventuring with the leaders of the Aquan and the Tellus while attempting to defeat an evil magician who is causing the elements to destabilize.

Erika: an insane old fire magician who specializes in explosion magic, and is a part of Caelums group. She may seem like a kind grandmother, but beneath the facade is a psychopath that is waiting to blow things up. She, along the other two, are sent to spy on the Order of the Nations. There are news on Caelum getting caught spying and thus locked up in prison, but Erikas fate is ambiguous since there is a possibility that she was killed by a member of the Order or was arrested along with Caelum.

Acrab: an insane earth magician who specializes in sand magic, and is a part of Caelums group. Not much about him, but he is sent to spy on the Order of the Nations. Unfortunately, the group was discovered and arrested thus leaving his fate unclear.

Low ranking

Markus: an attendant who specializes in healing magic. He is one of few attendants who retained his identity and individuality, while most are reduced to mindless servants who can cast a bit of magic and fight alongside of the magicians of the Black Leaves. Like many attendants, he doesn't talk much due to a harsh training but nonetheless helpful to Isaac.

Miscellaneous

Dr Anthony: a chemist who creates various potions and tonics, but also toxins. He doesn't have any magic powers, but what makes up for it is his knowledge on making magical tonics and potions that causes abnormal effects to his opponents (poison, paralysis, shrinking, hallucinogen, etc).
